Saw 3 interest?

Post by pennsylvania jones »

Halloween.

Anyone anticipating this? thoughts on 1 and 2? Did you like 1 more than 2 or 2 more than 1?

Will 3 be the best? Or is this whole franchise complete garbage?

I happen to enjoy these movies ('cept for Carey Elwes acting in pt 1)

HA! People won't let that Cary stuff go. But yo I like both of them because I take them for what they are. I like 1 better even though 2 had better situations. 2 got on my nerves with that big Hispanic Oaf maniac following them.

'Saw I' and 'Saw II' are two of the worst movies I've ever seen in my entire life.

I could at least see how they could have made a good movie out of 'Saw I' if they had tried. The elements were there and there were things I enjoyed about it despite it's horridness. But 'Saw II' was just egregiously bad. The story, the actors, the acting, the sets, the effects, the lighting, the way it was shot, the "twists," were all utterly terrible.

I'm sure I'll see 'Saw III' at some point and hate it as well.

Bad movies, but very entertaining. Until this thread I had no idea that a third one was coming out.

I'll address you, and that, later, once I've fully calmed down. But if you really thought we got our asses handed to us, you're criminally insane. Going to overtime had Drew not hand delivered the ball to Lito. Keep that in mind. After all the mistakes we made, and 7 sacks, we were 6 yards away from bringing that game to OT. So don't give me that asses handed to us claim. It's a shame your team really couldn't blow us out having dished out 7 sacks and 3 INT's. So spare me Gloss. Round 1 goes to you and your worthless, lucky Eagles. Long season,
and we're 2-2, not 0-4. See you soon.

I agree with blastmaster. The first two movies fall into the horrible yet enjoyable category. I'll probably eventually Netflix the 3rd.

I despised the first one. I really enjoyed the second one. I can't wait to see the 3rd.

yeah they are doing a pretty terrible job promoting this movie i guess. i just found out about this movie on friday because i walked by a bus stop poster. you would figure if it's coming out this month they would already have tv trailers and whatnot.

i agree with what most have said about this franchise, both movies have sucked, yet i will still probably end up renting this one as well.

Like Stormy, I like them for what they are...But I'd rather watch Wolf Creek, The Hills Have Eyes or Hostel.

pendy, from an uninvolved viewpoint, donovan owned your soul yesterday, and exposed your defense.

coming from a browns fan, so take that with a smidge of salt, but i watched the whole game, and i don't know how much different the game in dallas will be...

One can look at it that way, but the Eagles as a whole did not dominate Dallas. If Philly caused 4 turnovers, and 7 sacks, how could we possibly still be in the game with :32 seconds left on the 6 yard line. Drew makes that pass, game is tied and going to overtime. The score did not reflect domination.

yeah, they got close at the end there...

however, and again from a detached viewpoint, that game has a much better chance being a blowout for the eagles than coming down to a last-second interception...

depending on the next couple weeks, dallas will still probably be a small favorite at home, but that depends on the next couple weeks..

Only thing that gets me intrested in these movies are those crazy challenges ie. barb wire maze, reverse bear trap, and the death mask. This movie is really trying to get on the same level as Seven.

Of course! I knew coming in they would try to top the first with crazier death contraptions and a ludicrous conclusion.

This is news to me, hopeless! I absolutely hated part 1, and avoided part 2. But uh yeah, Hills Have Eyes is a contender for top ten of the year right now. That shit was on point like a motherfucker. Still surprised it didn't get more love around here. No idea how it fared on horror centric boards.

Thanks for starting the horror thread though my man, Hope is a top poster with no doubt.

I'm moving up Hills Have Eyes on my Netflix queue based on this. Don't let me down.

Eh, don't blame me. Hardly anybody here liked it. You've had fair warning.

I thought it was great though. Oh man, that spaghetti western part, and the fucking dog, the part people walk out on, oh man, there's some good stuff in there.

Hank Baskett #84 who scored an 87 yard touchdown as a rookie yesterday against the Cowboys used to dunk all over me in highschool basketball, I'm a big fan.

I will also throw my hat in the vouch-circle for The Hills Have Eyes. One of the best recent horror remakes.

Wow. I have absolutely NO idea why I thought you said anything about saw at all. You must have just been on my mind... :ohsh: :gyeah:

But yeah, the "Saws" are strictly "aight".

THHE is awesome though. To me, that's the way a remake should be done, if it has to be done.
