The most slept on Simpsons character...

Post by Moolah »

I fucken lose it every time this guy is in an episode. Here is the only info I could find on him.... (taken from wikipedia)
Wiseguy

Wiseguy is a man with a sarcastic outlook on life. He has held numerous jobs in Springfield including: garage owner, mail man, taxi driver, and various shop clerks. His voice is intended to resemble Charles Bronson, as seen when the Simpsons try to travel to Branson, Missouri, but mistakingly end up in Bronson, Missouri first. One episode gives his first name as Raphael, which Sideshow Bob called him in "Day of the Jackanapes". He often calls people "pally", or "boy-yo". Voiced by Hank Azaria.

He is sometimes known as "Sarcastic Middle-Aged Man.

The scene where he sons comic book guy, and when he sells homer that shitty tv called "The Carnivale" are absolute gold. He kinda reminds me of Randall from clerks actually.

Appreciate this character.

Comic Book Guy: Yes, finally. I would like to return your quote-unquote ultimate belt.
Salesman: I see, you do have a receipt, quote-unquote, sir?
Comic Book Guy: No, I do not have a receipt. I won it as a prize at the Star Trek convention, although I find their choice of prize highly illogical as the average trekker has no use for a medium size belt.
Salesman: Whoa, whoa, a fat, sarcastic Star trek fan! You must be a devil with the ladies.
Comic Book Guy: Hey, I, uh, de-oh...
Salesman: Gee, I hate to let you down, Casanova, but no receipt, no return.
Bart: I'll give you four bucks for it.
Comic Book Guy: Huuuh. Very Well. I must hurry back to my Comic Book Store where I dispense the insults rather than absorb them.

Hans Moleman is the retconned name (according to episode 7F15, his name was Ralph Melish) of a 4'4" 140-lb mole-like man with extremely bad luck. Although apparently elderly, he claims to be only thirty-one (his driver's license says he was born August 2, 1961), but due to his heavy drinking, he appears much older. He has cataracts and is almost entirely blind (which has severely impaired his reading ability), and has used medical marijuana.

Sarcastic Man to Overweight Homer: Hey Fatty, I've got one for you, how about, "A Fridge Too Far!"

Homer: I just came to see "Honk If You're Horny" in peace!!!

Out of the characters mentioned I got to go with Hans Moleman. "I was saying Booo-urns."

I would add Duffman. "Duffman is thrusting in the direction of the problem."

The scientist guy. I forget his name but every time he says GLAVEN, or pretty much anything, I giggle like a five year old. My friend Zack does impressions of him when I'm drunk and I seriously almost pee myself every time. Love that guy.

Such a great episode, and also his part in Who Shot Mr. Burns.

You should really watch "The Nutty Professor"
(Not the Eddie Murphy one)
There's too many amazing characters in the Simpsons.

Nah, his Bronson-isms were too hard to resist.

The Bronson Missouri shit was especially memorable. So much so that the "no dice" line the female version of dude who pops up in Bronson Missouri dropped made it's way into my lexicon of oft-quoted phrases from media.
