absolutely horrible.

jack black can only be good with kg....perhaps it is kg that is the funny one.

i actually dug the racountours, thought it was the best part of the night.

thought the live renditions of the hype williams videos was pretty cool.

that emo shit is taking over. speaks to the disaffected kids more than a shitty ludacris song does, how does it feel to be hair metal guys.....by the way i hate that emo shit.

the writing gets worse every year. its sad that the funniest thing to happen on the show was justin timberlake making shelves.

after watching this i realize conan should host EVERYTHING

how sad is it that jim sherer or what ever his name is, is the coolest guy on your network.

Jack Black made laugh when he caught on fire. After that, I saw no reason to laugh much more.

Sarah Silverman sucked. The only funny shit she did was smoke a joint and climb on top of those guys to form a pyramid.

OK GO!'s shit was impressive. I like those guys.

P!nk seemed like she didn't want to be there. Or she may have been some sort of drug. And she looked good (nice ass in person).

Beyonce was cool.

I'm proud Chamillionare won.

T.I. and Young Dro was having fun on stage. That was a good look for them since BET fucked their shit up that other time.

I never usually watch the MTV awards, I tried to watch in its entirity this year and I couldn't take it much more.

I watched the last two hours and thought it was a whirlwind of confusion and oddities. You know you're getting old when you can't even figure out what the stage configuration is, where everyone is seated and which direction the front of the stage is in.

Jack Black is truly worthless to me. Sitting through this shit must've been torturous.

On a positive note though, Beyonce's coat made me giddy. I want that.

PS - There is way too much shitty rock out right now and MTV wasted a number of worthless awards on it.

The Racontours I was kind of excited about... It was really odd when they were introduced with Lou Reed and they played "White Light/White Heat"

I wish they had done more crowd shots during this to get all the bewildered faces going .... wtf is this shit?!

MTV is really trying to make it seem like rock is back with all these shitty androgynous bands. giving Panic video of the year, making it seem like My Chemical Romance's new rockopera album will save the world, and having the Killers close (wtf is up with their moustaches!!

) as if they are the new Rulers. bollocks.

I hope they inspire a trend in young men to have moustaches, so I can laugh at everyone with a shitty moustache and know that the Killers got them to do it. just like eyeliner.

Pink didn't deserve that award and she knew it. how can they not give it to Madonna?!?!

Jack Black's opening segment was funny. The rest was dull.

OK GO's performance was the best thing I've seen on MTV in YEARS!!! that shit was killing me. I'm about to look up a youtube video of this and start my mornings off laughing.

i saw the pussycat dolls in the lobby of the parker meridian earlier in the evening after i ate a delicious cheeseburger....and i didnt even know who they were til i asked this guy that was taking pictures.
but i did however see christina milian walking around outside earlier too.

I thought Jack Black was funny. He is one of the few people who is funny pretty much even when he is not. He can't do wrong in my book.
