saw him perform in philly tonight.

tried to sell the tix for more than face value, but ended up going with a cute girl. It wasn't a bad show per say, it just wasn't up to the standards I assumed he had. His band was tight (his drummer was one of the best I've seen in my entire life) but he wasn't that ill. The only times he got people to flip was when he said curse words like "fuck" or "shit", or grabbed his crotch or drank a beer. It was weird. Then for two songs he played acoustic guitar which was quite odd. It didn't suit him well. At one point I started to feel uneasy because they played "Like I Love You" and in part of the breakdown they started playing "Smells Like Teen Spirit" with acoustics which was really really awkard.

All in all good show. Worth $60? Hell no. Worth $30? Maybe. Is his new record going to be dope? Sources point to Yes

Well, now I know not to grab tickets on eBay. Very disappointing to hear. But at least I save money, woo-haw.

it kind of feels like Timbaland and the other production was perfect for what JT was going for, but dude was just too corny to pull it off vocally. It's still a a damn good pop record, reminds me of some Prince shit.
