especially on that wide open breakaway missed drunk/layup. dirk played a horrible game and his shot was off most of the night and the mavs still won...not looking good for the heat.

The thing is that Dirk really wasn't given many good looks. The Heat played tight defense on him. It's not like he was missing wide open shots.

Looking back now the Heat took wayyyyy too many 3's. Especially early in the shot clock when they could've given it to Shaq more.

the heat played like i expected them to. actually i thought that they a much better first half than i imagined. they count stop terry. which is why dallas is so dangerous. it takes so much manpower and so many of your resources to stop a superstar like Dirk. then u gotta throw terry and howard in the mix. one of the three always steps up

the mavericks played a sub-par game and still beat the heat by 10.

it's not looking good for the heat.

If Walker makes those lay ups, the Heat win.

If someone besides Wade and Shaq can get to the line (and make a fucking freethrow), the Heat win.

If someone steps up in the second quarter, the Heat win.

They had the game within reach with like 3 minutes left, then Terry went nuts again. I dont think it was as bad a loss as it looks on paper. Shutting down Dirk was a great accomplishment, it just sucks that Terry was unconscious.

Heat in 6.

Fuckin' free throws. If Shaq makes a third and everybody else (Wade) can make 75% the Heat win.

The problem is, the Heat have to have a lead with 4 minutes to go. Otherwise the feed to Shaq is useless cause he'll get fouled and then its two missed free throws.

Terry was incredible, but fortunately he's streaky so I definitely only expect that for one or maybe two more games.

Oh and Gregg, its that they don't have the older guys that I'm talking about inexperience. Maybe you're right that Payton and Walker can run with them, but (i'd like to believe) they'd make less mistakes than them.

you silly fuckers and your if they only did {blank} the heat couldve have won like dallas wouldnt have adjusted.

i've hated terry for a while. guy desperately wants to be the star of the team. way to selfish, kobe style. he pulled through tonight but i have a feeling it's gonna get him gassed when he needs to realize he only had the opportunity to do that because dirk's a fucking powerhouse.

dallas in 4 or 5. i've been waiting years for this.

How do you adjust to someone making free throws?

If Wade would have made that second dunk (the one that was exactly the same as the one he made the possession before) that would have been the most :ohsh: moment in the playoffs.

make less mistakes then them?

Dallas is one of the most effecient teams in the nba. They are top 5 in the NBA in Turnovers and top 3 during the playoffs.

they actually made more mistakes during the miami game then their playoff average. and they still won. miami averaged about 15 turnovers a game during the playofs and suprise suprise, they got 15 in game 1.

and outside of turnovers, other then jacking up alot of threes at the end of the first and in the beginning of the second quarters, they didn't make alot of mistakes.

i think it's miami that needs to worry about making alot of mistakes. especially with Antoine "chucker" walker on that team. that dude is a walking talking mistake.

lol walker is awesome i think he is averaging around 7 3pt attempts per game these playoffs..which is actually DOWN from his season average. but, he occasionally makes a couple so i guess riles will live with it. i think walker would be alot more effective if he hit the boards like a mad man and drove/posted more.

The Heat might not make it to a 5th game.

Oh rele? I was only kinda half paying attention. Wade didn't appear to be doing much. But yeah, whatever, irrelevant.

Providing the Heat end up losing this (as it seems will be the case), I'm curious to see how the veterans who signed on for a title run handle it.

DAMMIT!!!

From the looks of things Miami is going to get swept. They are applying the Laker rules to the Heat. Pressure the shit outta the 2 guard and double team Shaq as soon as possible and its working fantastically. And then between Terry and Stackhouse doing the damn thing, its a nightmare for the Heat right now.

I did enjoy the refs calling a travel every time Wade did the "Lebron Game Winner" move to the basket. Then I cried.

it says that wade might not stick around after his contract is up since most everyone on the squad will be old

No matter what happens I highly doubt the starting line up next season looks anything like this year's, much less in 2.

No one is stupid enough to turn down max money from the team that drafted you. the right strategy would be to sign with whoever drafts you to the max and then demand a trade a couple of years after if they still stink.
