These are my final 5 of this group.Cormega
Inspectah Deck
Tragedy Khadafi
Killah Priest
AZ
The best lyricist of the bunch is 'mega. You can say that Cormega has shitty delivery, voice, breath control (he's always punching in) etc.. But you can't say he's not a gifted lyricist. His writing is unparalleled in rap, I'd say. He's lyrically versatile as well: from "Verbal Grafitti" to "The Saga".
Vote: Mega.

almost everyone on there is one of my favorite rappers ever. Deck, Cormega, and AZ (especially with his catalogue) are severely underrated, I feel they're 3 of the best to ever touch a mic. Tragedy's a pioneer of Queens street rap. Killah Priest more than anyone should become an official brother in the clan. Jadakiss from 99-2000 showed all signs that he was going to be one of the next greatest rappers.
I gave a sympathy vote for Prodigy of Mobb Deep. One of the greatest of the 90's.
I feel the reason it seems that he gave up on putting effort into rap is because he has not been apreciated for everything he did. I see mixtapes comin out blending verses with new beats, best of's etc., but I don't see any of those being made for P, and there's definately a few albums worth of material for that.

prodigy edges out jada based on longevity.
thought about priest, but sometimes he just kicks stupid nonsense..but at times kicks some of the most lovely poetic rhymes u'll here.
deck is solid, but never spectacular, imo.
az has his moments, but he falls flat most of the time these days.
sigel can be nice, but i dont think he's up there with p and jada.
tragedy has nice lyrics, but i couldnt say he's the best on the list so...
