Video iPod videos have no sound?

Post by Knoxx »

I recently bought myself a video iPod, and I have been unable to get the video clips properly transferred to my iPod. I converted the files, but they all have no sound. Can someone help me out here?

Peace

where are you getting the video clips from? how are you transcoding them? what kind of video files are they?

chances are the iPod cant read them because i believe the firmware only allows MPEG-4 format playback. it could also be a codec issue.

They are actually porn clips that I've downloaded from random sites. I'm transcoding them by using the "convert to iPod format" option. They are mpeg files.

this is a common problem many people have when using iTunes to format their videos. i suggest you use another program to do the conversion such as Videora iPod Converter.

try using that to transcode your videos, import them into iTunes, transfer them onto the iPod and that should solve your problem.
