Question:
Is the House he is standing in front of...the one from the Psycho movie?

word it is my man...It has that very early 90's sound too it and some of him at times reminds me of Chubb Rock, there is great production and a few tracks were his flow is rapid and just incredible...as good as Diabolique?... nope...but those 2 albums couldn't be any more different in my opinion.

jamrage what is your fave track on the Diabolique LP?

I think I am going with "Connections"...not an easy choice though.

Yeah, its hard as fuck to pick, really depends on what day you ask me.

Today it's "No Competition", but it could just as easily be "Big Katz" or "Do You Know".

Word, or MC Assault.

And I prefer this album to Diabolique, which I feel is a little too long.

wtf...

:jaz:

Diabolique was not a fucking great ass album.

there's absolutely no comparison between Hazardous and Diabolique.

Though it had it's choice moments, it got long and monotanous and would've benefited from a few of those Hydra 12"s to patch the holes.

A few months ago, I wrote a couple of pieces called The Search For Godfather Don and A Tribute To Hydra Entertainment. Not long afterwards, I was contacted by Hydra co-founder Mike Heron, which led to me conducting interviews with both Mike and Jerry Famolari, who currently runs the company. Jerry was kind enough discuss the upcoming Hydra release schedule, and one project in particular had me amped

i agree with the comments stating that hazardous wasnt all that and a bag of chips. it had joitns but diabolique was very dope beatwise and flow wise. its not cause i dont like the old sounding album. i love that vintage vibe but diabolique was just a terror. i find a lot of hazardous to be boring

There needs to be an emoticon where it says not to use my pic as an emoticon that holds zero relevance to the album or thread in question....

Huh? So you do like Diabolique? Cos I agree that it is overlong and a tad tedious.

Word to his Hydra 12"s. Skurdur posted the whole lot in MP3x and listening to them all back to back makes you realise that he coulda put out a classic.

it was more of a response to Jaz taking 2 days off then coming back and accosting me for over-the-top posting like he's Ghandi reborn.

anyhow, I like the album, but I thought it was the general consensous that it fell short of what it could've been. I had never seen anyone say it was a great album none the less better than Hazardous.

i was a bit shocked. Both worth owning though. That Burn RMX is one of my favorite G-Don cuts.

well obviously someone needs to get a sense of humour, you came out saying that we said Diabolique was a a fucking great album when we didn't, it's dope and it's solid but it's not the greatest thing, you used a stupid and redundant emoticon that held no relevance to the topic or album in question...

so Slow...like...
