Lost: Official Season 2 Thread

great new episode, but of course they are going on ANOTHER break. This shits getting rediculous with all these fucking breaks. I hope ratings plummet so they'll have to change the format.

on the subject of people acting out of character (like charlie), my guess is people are finally stating to get "sick".

Also, The captured guy says his name is Henry Gale. Henry Gale was Dorothy's uncle in the Wizard of Oz. In the original book, the Wizard came to Oz from America in a balloon.

The amount of breaks is the same as last season. It's not that big of a deal.

Ya I remembered the name didn't know from where, then he started with all the air balloon statistics i figured it out....

but - The U.S. Army Sergeant who initially asks Sayid to talk to his C.O., is Kate's step-father. Later in the back of the truck, he reveals a picture of Kate as a teenager.

good call on the military guy, greg...i didn't recognize him as one of the others, but i immediately said that his voice reminded me of the guy saying 'you only live here because we let you...'

and can someone get a little deeper on the arab translation stuff? i guess i can go to the lost board, they probably got it all figured out by now...

1.) Joe Inman (general) was played by Clancey Brown, Zeke was played by M.C. Gainey

concerning the symbols that came up on the 108 minute timer/clock...

it's a thread about what the symbols mean, and it's 48 pages long right now...

i'm pretty sure that link takes you to page 38, where it's finally figured out that it's heiroglyphics...and the 5 symbols translate to 'cause to die'...

i dunno. i read 10 pages' worth or so, and everyone seems convinced it's heiroglyphics, and it's scary...

again, and this is probably the 4th or 5th time i've hyped this site...go there, click on season 2, scroll down to the latest episode that has played (in this case, 'one of them'), and people got maad theories on things...

Just caught up. Good episode, I'm just wondering how Season 2 is gonna end? I know we have about 10 episodes left but I'm not sure. My guess is someone will forget to use the computer and the timer runs out.

Also I dont think I'm enjoying this season as much as the first?

That was an amazing episode. I'm not enjoying this season as much as the last, but at the start I thought it was much better. I put this down to being in the middle of the season where they need to spend more time on character building more than the main plot, and the fact that we pretty much have an episode on alternate weeks makes things worse. But yeah that episode was awesome.

I was reading a thread on one of the Lost boards and people were commenting on it as they were watching it for the first time. When the bearded guy appeared without the beard there was a bunch of people making posts like "OMG SEE I TOLD YOU. THERE ARE CLONES ON THE ISLAND. EVERY PERSON ON THE ISLAND HAS 4 CLONES WHICH EACH CORRESPOND TO THE DIFFERENT LEVELS OF HYPER-DIMENSIONAL SPACE"
then they saw the beard lol.

Ok, can someone tell me what exactly happened after Henry said "If I were one of them, what would I draw a map to? Probably a secluded area where they could be ambushed easily...

after that my DVR switched over to record South Park. What was the rest of the dialogue?
