HBO's new seasons : six feet under and entourage...

Post by Nl5H »

entourage, i dont know it went to fast, and it seemed like everyone was snapping back at each other in this episode, as if they are frustrated with each other. i think that's a good thing for teh show...

as far six feet, its running right now. i'll come back on my thoughts later.

i cant belive more people dont talk about 6ft under. i think its the best show on televison, maybe my favorite of all time. the new seasons been ridiculous. anyone see the latest episode, i kind of figured nate would die, but it still was a bit unexspected. i'm sad this is the final season, i could watch this family for many years to come.

They totally threw me off this past episode. He made it out of his coma and everything was looking good. Then BAM, he dies out of nowhere. I did expect him to die after what happened in the previous episode, but it really did look like he would pull through. Great great show.

The last episode of Ent. made me realize why people hate it so much... the acting was HORRIBLE, there was horrible editing, including obviously poor continuity, it wasn't funny in the least bit... and WTF@U2... what did that have to do with anything... it was tacked on... HORRIBLE EPISODE!

The last Ep of Six Feet was possibly the best show on HBO in the past 5 years.

As for Entourage, they should just eliminate every character and keep Ari and Johnny Drama.

For sure...Ari makes that show. Jeremy Piven is underrated like a mother fucker. I haven't seen him in any roles on movies/shows that I didn't care for.

Yeah, definitely keep Turtle. I forgot about that kid. He's like everyone of my friends from Brooklyn.

You hang out with a bunch a fags then. That guy is a moochin' ass, leechin' ass bitch.

I agree about Eric and Vince being not only horrible actors but terribly drawn characters.

Drama owns that show to me. Ari's cool, but a lot of the time they try way too fuckin' hard with his character.

Entourage suffers the minute it requires Vince to do anything but be attractive and vapid. The show is about Eric, and it gets fucked up if they forget that.

The last ep wasn't horrible, but it tired a little too hard for it's laughs.

I wonder how Harry Knowles liked it.

I watched Six Feet Under for the first time in a few years. That show is a joke now, the characters are cartoons now.

Johnny Drama for President.

Yeah Ari killed it @ the Bat Mitzvah. I think I could just watch a spin-off show with Drama & Turtle for hours.

I love Six Feet Under and have been watching it from the first season. I missed last night's episode but thank God I've got HBO on Demand. I'll be back later with my thoughts.

Ditto for Entourage but now that I know Vince got Aquaman I'm not as anxious to see each new episode. Nate dying on STU, though, was huge.

I couldn't stop laughing at Ari's line about "I'll take Keanu, you take the other guy"

I was just thinking the same thing. Turtle and Drama get better every episode. They make that show. Their excitment at finding the little kid buffet had me rolling.

Cool Quik cameo as DJ of a Bat Mitzvah. Hopefully Saigon gets a bigger part,

That could have been a killer one line scene was he was surrounded by all the 13 year old jewish girls.

So all y'all think Entourage is a bad show, but you keep on watching it.

Doesn't make sense.

It's sort of like reading your posts: I enjoy very few, yet I keep reading them.

The leads are not very good actors(vince and eric). But it is a funny parody of Hollywood. Kevin Dillon is the funniest person on TV, and it also have beautiful women, and cool cameos (any show that gives Saigon shine is cool in my book)

Man, I can think of almost 6-7 other people on HBO that are funnier than him. The whole wanna-be tough guy hipster schtick is done far better by Multisante.
and it also have beautiful women
Watch Desperate Housewives.

Let me run this down. It's main characters can't act, but they have one funny guy in it and there's hot chicks and good cameos. You see what I'm saying? You're trying to hard to like it.

That's why I was saying before that this is like 90210 or Sex in the City for men. You know the show isn't that good, but you don't care - because you like being immersed in their world.

Desperate Housewive is a female soap opera, and Eva is the only chick who does anything for me.

The leads are barely leads. The Johnny Drama character gets more screen time then Vince does. You must watch this show every week, or you are just calling it the male 90210 withou seeing it. Because it is clearly a parody of LA.

I'm wrong, LArry David is more funny. But Drama is up there.

Don't front on Ali G. Ali G is a comedic genius. Kevin Dillon is Matt Dillon's brother.

Agreed. I wanted to vomit at points. They're all just so fucked up and almost completely unable to process emotion.
