I always thought the shit was dope especially the death match options which set it apart from Street Fighter.....and let it be known that Rasputin has one of the most

Super Moves in the history of video games.

Couldn't really bring myself to like it. Probably has something to do with only having an extended playtime the mentally-scarring (probably only for me) Genesis port.

And yet I was still really geeked when part 2 came out. I remember seeing pictures of the pirate guy on his stage doing his special move where he sends the ghost ship out along the ground and just being like "...shit." It looked pretty amazing at the time.

It could have been Fighter's History

edit: excellent graphics for the time period though. Rasputin, though gay, had big glowing hands and feet, which looked cool.

I was always either Fuuma or Brocken or Mudman

And good thing it wasnt Art of Fighting as well

some might think its blasphemous to hate on AOF, but I fucking hated it to death

AOF wasn't that bad part was actually rather good ( to me at leas) and yeah Useff the Genesis version of Word Heroes can really make you loose faith it did the same to me as well until i played 2 on SNES, and World Heroes Perfect on Saturn is just straight up ill......
