once or twice a week i hear random faint quips of conversation through my computer speakers..

they've always surprised me, but i never was able to make out what they were saying..

today.. just now.. i was wearing my headphones (but no music was playing, winamp was closed), because the wife is taking a nap, and i heard another. but this time i could make it out..

it said, "Boogieman, baby"..

i checked the firewall.. nothing..
i ran two virii tests, a spyware test and checked the firewall.. nothing..

I used to think it was maybe mixed signals from over the DSL lines being picked up and somehow broadcast through my speakers.. I also thought maybe it's some weird german malware.. now I dunno..

I google'd and yahoo'd the phrase.. nothing..

I get shit like that sometimes if there's a taxi outside, through various speakers, nothing to do with DSL or the computer. I think it's just inteference from their radios.

It might still be worth getting a preist to have a look at it, though.
