haha this is reallly dope. who did the scratching? or is that just very creative use of sound effects? you could probably make some dope ass "southern" beats if you wanted to, maybe to just sell to someone. every soundclick site has the exact same style of wannabe lil jon beats, and yours would be better. they seem to be able to sell theirs, i'm sure you could make some good cash.

awesome. i'm not sure if this would be as good as a beat to be rapped over than it is for an instrumental. i gotta listen again, haha.

oh, and as some random thing, i talked to this guy Gene today. I noticed he was on your myspace thing and he's in the UCI hip hop congress. I thought that was weird that two people i knew were somehow related. he said he knew you from the non prophets board.

thats pretty epic my dude.
bass line is great, i like its consistency in the composition.

Did you play some of those guitars and pianos, or are they samples?

the word is whoof.

like, this shit made me fold my arms, lean back and go whoof.

i swear to goodness, you're too good for this place. release a record that i can change some long legged woman's mind about my choices with.

feels sort of like something the beta band or the bees might have had a hand down to the elbow in. the way it's just a little off balance, in the best possible sense. and the second keyboard line, with the mirrored bottom melody is fucking gorgeous.

there's room for rapping, there's room for singing, there's room for finding out what fucking works about the world over this piece.

BRILLIANT homie. as always. welldone.
got more records than god.

www.myspace.com/tayoisnt is where i show how i use 'em.

heh. thanks for the input fellas. i really worked hard on this one. really everything fell into place for this track thoguh. I really wish I could produce more beats like this. practice makes perfect I guess. :-).

yeah. most of the keys were played by me though. I'm learning piano so I guess that helps.
