anyone picking this up next week?, i know i fuckin' am, its been getting great reviews, ign gave it a 9.8, and game informer gave it 10 out of 10. I played the demo a while ago and i must say the game is incredible

:shock: Those are some good ass reviews.

It makes me further believe that the new generation of consoles are coming out WAY too soon. Programmers are finally beginning to push these systems to their fullest potential, and now they're gonna have to learn new tricks to make things good with the new dev kits and they're not gonna hit their strides for years.

Anyone wanna put up some screenshots? This game looks PHENOMENAL on the PS2.

I've been playing this since thursday and I must say this is fuckin' incredible. The graphics need to be seen to believe. The action is so fluid and I love it.

This won't work on the HDD yet, FYI. It's got the same problem as Gran Turismo 4, which still has yet to be fixed for the HDD

It's great, a true return to form and then some for the series, BUT

1) It kicks your ass.

2) It's kicked my ass more than a few times and I have the easier Japanese version.

The PAL release of DMC3 is supposed to have a more leanient difficulty much like the Japanese version.

Hats off to any of you playing the US version and are finding it easy.

I've already given up on DMC3. I love the game, but I don't have the time or will to grind it out right now. Shit is fucking tough.

THIS GAME IS OFF THE FUCKIN' CHAIN!!!!

The graphics are stunning. The gameplay is very DMCish. The really cool part is this semi-screenshots that you perform in the middle of fighting that will cause Kratos to do some incredible ass sequence of action (so far the best I've seen is on the Hydra, but I just starting playing it last night) and the plot is ridiculous. There's even boobies.

Right now, I would say that this is my favorite game all-time.

I just have to defeat the final boss and I'm done. This has been addicting and I'm definitely going to play it again on a higher level. (i did it on Hero/Normal)
