this is exactly the response i expected from this board. extreme intolerance. it doesn't help that you posted a bunch of gook shit off the jump.ackbar wrote:
a while ago myself and some others put up some stuff by IAM, who are pretty well-regarded even outside of france. got stonewalled hard. most of this board are amerikkkan elitists to the point i'm surprised they even acknowledge yung lean (but they don't want to seem uncool/out of touch).
there are some great rappers in french and russian. i've given up engaging

1. Nas
2. Drake
that's pretty much it fam.

I actually been diggin into russian rap over the last few months, it's a fucking riot. Can't even begin to explain the dynamics of it, they basically take all the american signifiers of it but ditch most of the american-specific context. They're really big on trap over there too.EMCEE DARTH MALEK wrote: there are some great rappers in french and russian.

Re: rap music in other languages
Interesting stuff so far, I've been getting into a lot of International Hip Hop lately. Here I've posted some songs from Sweden, Norway, France & Germany.
No more Sasso. Now everybody call me Ron!
Re: rap music in other languages
I did an EP with this dude 90 (noventa) so I'm biased, but he puts out a ton of music and I like most all of it. Would recommend to fans of clipping or el-p.
Here's his latest (I think, don't know, haven't heard it yet):

http://noventa.bandcamp.com/album/paroxetism" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I think this is one of the albums that got me into his music:

http://noventa.bandcamp.com/album/paris ... r-saison-1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
and here's the thing we did in 2012:

http://noventa.bandcamp.com/album/dissonant-dissidence" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I like.
