George Costanza is arguably the best tv character of all time, at least in the context of comedy shows.

JLD may be the best, or one of the best female comedic actors of all time, but Elaine isn't as good of a character as George.

I'm not sure how this is even in question. Even using the constanza method of doing the exact opposite of your first instinct (which would be Jerry) you still end up with constanza (like Nah-bisck-O).
