Don't want to spoil it for anyone who wants to watch tomorrow night but it was just really weird in the context of his match on Smackdown to me. Fans would never mark out like that where I'm from. There were a lot of kids but East Coast fans are pretty wild. Chanting "ECW!" and "Paul E's god!" in Philly was awesome.

Isn't that from BOLA this year, where he was just coming off of a summer-long injury where he couldn't workout?

Hero hasn't been at that weight (or any weight resembling it) for probably ten or more years, so the odds that he still has his sleeveless shirt/pleather pants gear from back in CZW isn't all that great. He may have even sold it to someone who collects ring-worn gear, knowing Hero's ability to move merch.

And I doubt he'd buy new gear based on his weight gain because for him, it's probably a temporary situation. Gear is expensive.

Peter Rosenberg's laugh on the Cheap Heat podcast is a mixture of that Bagwell laugh and the shriek Jadakiss makes on his intros. It is single-handedly the most annoying noise in the known universe.

Yup, that was my favorite Ziggler match in a while. And Orton killing hard lately, that's why I'm not as bothered by seeing Orton/Cena part fifty, I think they'll come up with something good. And Sandow remains the most entertaining part of the show. Also, what was up with giving away Show and Rusev, that thing was worthy of a ppv.

So do you think Rollins vs Ambrose is closing the PPV? Brock run in?

Rollins-Ambrose needs to be the closer. No heat at all for Cena-Orton. I hope they use that match to bring in the Wyatt boys, turning Orton semi-face.

Yeah, if Rollins-Ambrose is the closer, it shows how much faith the WWE has in these two. It's actually the first Hell in a Cell match since the inaugeral Michaels-Taker classic in 1997 where it's both participants first time in Hell in a Cell.

As for Cena-Orton, considering how much we've seen of those two against each other (including a previous HitC match only five years ago) I have a hope in the back of my mind that they'll use our low expectations to give us something truly different. The past three months or so have given us some really fresh matches with those two against others, so I think there's an off chance we'll get something we've never seen before. Personally, I'd excited by the prospect of Orton-Cena fighting on the very top of the cell. That's pretty much the last territory these two haven't ventured to together and could really give us a highlight moment.

I'm kind of bummed that we're not getting AJ-Paige or Dusts-Usos in the Cell as this is the first HitC PPV since its inception in 2009 where we have multiple months-long feuds that would/could logically culminate in the Cell. Given the shenanigans and intensity that both of those feuds have, the Cell seems like both of their logical conclusions.

Also, seeing Rusev destroy someone without even using the Cell would be a great stat for him. I remember Mark Henry retaining his title clean against Orton in 2011 and didn't even touch the Cell once, and what a badass that made him look like.

Loved this RKO, it reminded me of how DDP would hit the cutter from different setups every week. I'm pretty sure he used this one, but I can't remember when or who against.

amazing.

Also, this week on his podcast, Austin did commentary over his WM17 match with the rock, it's great.

Fucking awesome, but this gif is everything I hate about WWE television:

-Zoom on Ziggler hitting the ropes
-Zoom out on Ziggler approaching Orton
-Camera angle change for Orton catching Ziggler
-Camera angle change just before the RKO
-Hard zoom in then out on impact
-Zoom on lifeless Ziggler

I just want to watch a match without getting motion sickness.

Not great, but it's a lot better than they did with the first few months of The Shield, where they'd zoom in and out the entire time from the same camera angle for no reason. God, that was annoying.

They're fucking great, but I'd rather watch Zayn wrestle than pretty much anyone on the WWE/NXT roster right now.

it speaks volumes to the in ring prowess of sami zayn, he's so good that even a white trash redneck like you is willing to overlook the fact that hes a canadian wrasslah of syrian decent.

Bret Hart is one of my favorite wrestlers ever. I like tons of other Canadian wrestlers, and am in no way a redneck. Don't bring that wack ass P&B shit into our wrestling thread.

Bagwell was underrated in my opinion. One of my favorite things about the nwo is how cliques inside the group would form, like Bagwell and steiner for example. They were absolute gold together.

Sidenote: the American males theme is still the most hilariously bad entrance music of all time
