I really, REALLY, hope that's true. Kevin Dunn is a fucking dipshit, and the WWE would be a lot better without him.

^ Exactly. Dunn is a racist piece of trash who just clings to Vince like a stooge, they say. I hope my amigo Alberto caught him a few times. Bet he did. He has an MMA background and all that.

Oh man, that is so great, and terrible. From what I've read over the years, dude is insane and a piece of shit to everyone, so props to Del Rio. I guess Vince is so loyal to him, cause word is Steph/HHH can't stand the guy.

The lead up to the confrontation started in catering, when sombody (assuming a catering staff member) asked the person (the Social Media Manager) to clean off his plate. The social media manager then joked about how that’s “Del Rios Job”.

Alberto found out and confronted him. The Social Media Manager didn’t apologize and then smiled at him, so Del Rio slapped him.

I was there for that live, it was incredible.

Have you seen their PWG ladder match from Steen Wolf?

I don't think so, is that the name of the dvd it's on? I've got decent into madness and hell rising, plus a Generico dvd that I can't remember the name of that I loaned to a friend.
Steen Wolf is the name of the PWG event that the match headlined. If you've never seen PWG, many cite Steen Wolf as the best event to start with. It's also the last match on the Many Adventures of El Generico comp.

Also, you need Kevin Steen Ascension to the Top in your life if only for the Kevin Steen - Nigel McGuiness match that I consider a top 5 all time Steen match.

I have seen it then, that's the Generico comp I got(based on your recommendation, thanks). That's the one where Steen rips his mask and shit, right? I've seen so many ladder matches between the two in the last month that they're all starting to blur together.

People are starting to think this is a work based on this tweet. If the person that posted those tweets isn't fired by morning, I'd probably be inclined to agree. I mean, they gave a specific reason for firing him (they never do that), they used his ring name and not his real name in the press release (they never do that), and they tagged the motherfucker in the tweet talking shit about him (who does that?).

You can't tell me Randy Orton has never slapped one of the social media crew, and he's still employed.

The question is, did they offer him anything in regard to his future endeavors? Well wishes, perhaps?

Not a thing.

And everyone knows you're not really fired until you're future endeavored.

so I joined this wrestling torrent site last night while in my hotel bored (on vacation with my daughter and she fell asleep early so I had a few beer and fucked around on my laptop) downloaded the paul heyman dvd and extras and almost got banned for not uploading anything lol so I donated a few dollars and it was all good.

turns out I ended up getting every episode of ecw on tnn and 1996-97 of hardcore tv plus a bunch of the original ecw dvds.

got that new matt sydal shoot video too and the best of roh 2005

got some shit to watch now lol

also, the Dixie carter table spot was great

I've heard the G1 tournament from japan this year being called the best pro wrestling tournament ever from pretty much everyone that's seen it. I'm d/l the complete set of all 13 or 14 days or whatever now.. I know aj styles and Shelton benjermin are both in it but other than that I don't know much about it

fingers crossed for English commentary but I doubt it

Shinsuke Nakamura is one of my favorite wrestlers in the world right now. His gimmick is that he's Danny Brown, and I'm not joking.

Nice! Wonder what his gimmick will be tho.

Probably no more steenilizers either, especially the turnbuckle variety.

I thought it was odd that they mentioned the package piledriver in the article, since he's more than likely not going to be able to use it there. I hope they at least let him keep his name, but that's probably not happening either.

But seriously, given how they've hyped up Devitt, KENTA, and Steen, I can't imagine WWE saddling them with some new gimmick or name. WWE.com has treated these guys like stars, and to me, that sounds like they signed Devitt/KENTA/Steen because they want Devitt/KENTA/Steen.

I don't even know if WWE will ask Steen to work on his build. He's got the perfect look and attitude for a dickhead bully, and you don't want to fuck with a good thing unless it's going to make it better.

Hmm. I haven't been able to get into his matches because of his build. He doesn't seem fit enough to be taken seriously as a wrestler. It's not like he's Yokozuna weight where he looks like he'll crush you. He just seems like a dude who's out of shape.

Hate to say it, but I think the whole Canadian thing keeps me from getting into his matches too. Canadians have a look to them (yes, even Bret) that make them seem not menacing to me somehow.

Hopefully he'll prove me wrong in WWE.

You clearly haven't watched much of his stuff. One match with Generico, and I was hooked. Steen fuckin rules, yo.

So what are everyone's predictions for Summer Slam? I'll give WWE credit for making this PPV seem more unpredictable than any in recent memory.

AJ Lee vs. Paige- Not sure, guessing AJ Lee. I'm not really invested in this one. I know that there's no way that AJ could have returned heal since she's receiving a ton of displaced CM Punk crowd love but she works so much better as a heal. An AJ and Paige crazy heel team that terrorizes the other Divas would be cool down the road.

Jack Swagger vs. Rusev (flag match)- Should be Patriotic as fuck. I don't see Swagger losing this but I think it's an important crossroads for Rusev. I think a clean loss to Swagger is a few steps backward for Rusev who has been billed as such a monster, but then again WWE loves killing someone's buzz (see: Cesaro). Rusev needs to bounce back from this with a big feud against a name like Big Show...fantasy ending for this match: Lana kicks someone in the balls and then Hogan runs-in and leg-drops Rusev, setting up Rusev vs. The Realest American Hulk Hogan.

The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler- I'm shocked every time The Miz wins a match, but his current gimmick is the best version of The Miz we've seen. I edge this one to Dolph, only because WWE has to know that the crowd will pop for a Dolph victory. As long as WWE isn't afraid of Dolph getting injuring again, Ziggler could be setting up for a strong run as IC champ.

Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins (lumberjack match)- I think we're ready for a pay-off for this feud. If they finally let this match play out, it should be the match of the night. I'm guessing Seth Rollins will win because he's been getting rekt by Ambrose leading up to this. FWIW, Jeans Ambrose is probably my favorite wrestler right now.

Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton- I don't see Reigns losing this unless HHH and Kane pull shenanigans, fully setting up the Reigns/HHH feud for NOC. I can't imagine where they take Orton from here.

Chris Jericho vs. Bray Wyatt- Bray has to win this. Either Bray will get a clean win over Jericho, which would be great and appropriate, or there will be a new member joining the Wyatt family since Luke Harper and Erick Rowan are banned from ringside.

Brie Bella vs. Stephanie McMahon- Seeing as this match has been getting such high billing, I think (hope) it will have some interesting twist. I'm surprised how little Daniel Bryan has been involved in this feud considering it's basically replacing the DB/HHH feud. I think Bryan should be involved in this match somehow other than Steph mocking his catchphrase. I'd like to see DB run in to save Brie at sometime, maybe throwing a knee at HHH in the process, but I'm guessing Steph will win. She's a McMahon after all.

John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar- This one's up in the air but I'm guessing Brock will win. Brock could take the belt at SS and lose it back to Cena at NOC. I don't see Brock being champion past NOC because of his part-time schedule. Also, no matter who wins, there's not really a clear challenger in the company right now. I think they have to extend this feud until Roman Reigns gets past HHH. I could see Brock winning the belt at SS, losing it back to Cena at NOC, Seth Rollins cashing in at some point to win the belt, and then Roman Reigns beating Rollins for the belt either at Hell in A Cell or Survivor Series. From there, Reigns could run with the belt until DB returns to win the Rumble and face Reigns at WrestleMania. I guess I'm getting ahead of myself though...

There has been talk of Lesnar winning the title and holding it until Mania, where he's finally beaten by Reigns, but I hope that doesn't happen. I'd rather see Bryan get his legit run.

I'd LOVE to a see a returning Bryan defeat a reigning Lesnar, whenever it might be able to happen. Especially if he goes over Cena clean more than once before that, it would establish Bryan as THE GUY going forward.
