This. His debut doesnt need cluttering up with the same features that are on every fucking album these days. One or two guest verses max, one or 2 producers (Just Blaze and Q Tip preferably) and let him do the rest. I think he has a really good/interesting album in him but obviously the industry and his work ethic means we'll probably never see it happen.

Tyler The Creator - Novelty was cute at first, only interested in Earl from OFWG

Raekwon - Ain't been too sloppy this millenium

Andre 3000 - Overrated as fuck and weird, but he can come correct once in a while

Action Bronson - Gets decent production, otherwise, I'm not interested. Altho he can put on a damn good show...even if he hours late (nothing new in rap)

Sean Price - Best rapper of the '00s and beyond

Curren$y - Haven't heard much tbh but from what I heard I ain't mad. I can take him or leave him tho, pause

Brother Ali - SOTS, that's all please.

Killer Mike - ALL my homeboys love him (pause)...could never fully get into him, not my cup of tea but I would never deny his talent

Jay Electronica - Couldn't give less than a shit

Roc Marciano - Dope producer, overrated rapper, shit with UN was cool

Odd group of rappers, even for some random shit.

Tyler The Creator - Used to jock Odd Future, now you jock Earl.
Raekwon - Uninspired but still sounds good over great production
Andre 3000 - Indecisive, weird, lazy, complacent and extremely talented
Action Bronson - Less is more.
Sean Price - His window closed a few years ago. .
Curren$y - Devin with better beats these days.
Brother Ali - Jules Winnfield on wax that wears thin after a few tracks.
Killer Mike - Great rapper who is trying to find a fanbase that actually buys his music.
Jay Electronica - Could be amazing but I don't think he wants to be.
Roc Marciano - Extremely consistent low-pro rapper who stays in his lane.

Tyler The Creator - Ritalin is a helluva drug.
Raekwon - One of few rappers over 40 who can still make good albums.
Andre 3000 - Baduizm got the best of him.
Action Bronson - Best Albanian rapper alive.
Sean Price -Great rapper but kinda meh lately.
Curren$y - Entertaining weed rapper.
Brother Ali - The Muslim Edgar Winter of rap.
Killer Mike - Tries a bit too hard to be A-town's Ice Cube maybe but great rapper nonetheless.
Jay Electronica - Baduizm was getting the best of him too but now he fucks with the illuminati (literally).
Roc Marciano - Best East Coast rapper right now and a great producer too.

Action Bronson - He is like Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia, used to love it, no its pretty tired.
Sean Price - Yoga for rap fans aka something that is supposed to be good but just seems boring.
Curren$y - Only rapper I will listen to with the $ in their name is Ma$e
Brother Ali - all the vocal quality of vast aire minus the ethical issues and career suicides.
Killer Mike - Brilz, just fucking brilz.
Jay Electronica - i am still wildly excited for his album.
Roc Marciano - his name sounds like he is an italian guy from yonkers, thus i refuse to listen.

Roc got his name from an old Italian boxer, you are missing out on quality Hip Hop by refusing to listen because if his name, yet you jock that wack Earl Sweatshirt shit?

Tyler The Creator- I'm interested in an album, but haven't cared to check for any of the singles/colabs. Better solo.

Raekwon- OBFCL will always be a fav, but also the only Rae album I feel I ever need to care about.

Andre 3000- Can't fault him for wanting to be different, but miss him as a more straightforward MC.

Action Bronson- Too derivative, both of Ghost and of himself. The mixtape I checked felt like it was the same song 16 times.

Sean Price- Solo career has been totally off my radar. This probably makes me an asshole.

Curren$y- Entire career (save one guest with Wale) has been totally off my radar. I'm ok with this.

Brother Ali- So much better angry than preachy. Still weirdly slept on, Shadows is a classic album to me.

Killer Mike- Great album, great live show.

Jay Electronica- Should be really happy he's even mentioned in this thread.

Roc Marciano- Tried to listen to a few tracks, seems to not be my thing.

hilarious joke about me being from Australia and also I would be more than glad to be Peter Jackson, he has millions, is very talented and well respected...unlike you donut muncher.

I think from now on I am going to call myself MC Iceland and have a DJ Finland...good idea non meal skipper?

verge wrote:Tyler The Creator = spoiled brat diva bitch shit outweighs any rap skill here and the comedy show is cornball, needs immediate cancellation.
Raekwon = sandwich afficinado, can still pick the right beats and rhymes well when he wants but i'm not punching people in the face to hear new music from him.
Andre 3000 = great but online over rated.
Action Bronson = can't ignore the ghostface voice but he's entertaining, however the subject matter must evolve or at least consist of something besides korean meats.
Sean Price - Was good in the 90s and his two solo albums were pretty good and some verses afterwards but he's been phoning it in and pretty boring for the last 3 years or so.
Curren$y = i've heard songs i liked from him but the beats he gets are way too good for his rhymes usually.
Brother Ali = i can't name one song but i remember him not being bad, also remember his albino-ness being a marketing/talking point(?).
Killer Mike = i heard the lp with el-p and thought, "we already had an ice cube", though he is good on some songs on the album.
Jay Electronica = huge disappointment.
Roc Marciano = awesome but his guest spots have mostly been phone in boring, gonna stop checking until he does something useful.

Given that

1- Ice Cube hasn't been Ice Cube in years
2- Ice Cube was really fucking awesome when he was Ice Cube

Why is at all a bad thing that Killer Mike sounds slightly like him? You wouldn't be excited if you got another record close to on par with Death Certificate?

Hey man, whatever floats your boat. I did say that he's good on some songs on the album. Definitely gonna give it another spin cause there was a few songs that sounded really dope, imo.
