Saigon/Just Blaze - "One Foot in the Grave" Album

Post by Magneto »

Saigon and Just Blaze are dropping an album January 24th. GSNT was a dope album and most of those songs were 6-7 years old, so I'm looking forward to this.

I have lost all desire to check for anything by Saigon. Between his ridiculous release troubles and online dispute with the label or Just Blaze to his petty beef Prodigy or Joe Budden, to his then befriending Budden. I'm over him completely.

1/3 of it. Most of the collabos I didn't care for.

The album title refers to Saigon's career, right?
Whether to Jason of Philaflava or John Podesta, I will speak my fucking perspective openly

If he hasn't proven it in a fucking decade he's not about to start.

Album will be shit and would rather have a Just Blaze instrumental album.

Of course. I doubt it's just coincident at this point.

I cannot fathom a universe in which people anticipate the release date of the next Saigon record.

This was the only dope song I remember from the last album. I'd give him one more chance with Just Blaze and no label issues.

Video is a year old, but I liked this joint. I'll give Saigon a chance with a new record...then again I've been in prison/jail a year and a half out this last 5, maybe I'm biased. Dude needs to get his shit together either way.

Was there anything about this to really hate on? Too little too late, I guess.

He's a good dude, good lyrics, but unfortunately, too many of his records sound the same.

im no Saigon enthusiast but that album is far from an "atrocity"...the real atrocity is the overall handling of that album and it's release though...

its a decent 3/5 record though. it's average..nothing profoundly horrible and nothing too spectacular..

I listened to a few leaks. A couple were pretty good and one was really bad. I think I missed a lot of them, though.
