Word drizzle, its fuckin mind baffling how much raw psyche type shit is still out there even after we think every region has been scoured to death. I'm still reeling from the gems on this one, gonna have to cop come tax season.

No doubt king beef, thanks for continually posting lp's here.

I just discovered Harlem Pop Trotters and Cloud One today, and then I see it posted here...
I may as well just keep coming back to this thread because I can't find anything on my own
This one here is mad ill:

Code:
http://www.mediafire.com/?pcyi3pucdqx8za3

from here:
Code:
http://bluebeatinmysoul.blogspot.com/20 ... 11-mr.html

Lots of samples and shit, was listening on repeat last night. Peep this guy's compilations and other uploads too:
http://bluebeatinmysoul.blogspot.com/
Instead of getting the compilation, why don't you download the albums by the artists in it? only the first two tracks can't be found.

Cinemaphonic-Electro Soul
compilation of tracks that didn't exist on the internet before this came out
specializing in breaks and general dopeness
http://www.mediafire.com/?gy4b1ly4ikn5261

Deep Throat Anthology part I and II
Re-release of two porno OSTs from 1972 and 74
highly recommended

Black Merda- The Psyche Funk Of Black Merda
Another one of those 'All Of' Compilations (think Geater Davis compilation)
Definitely some ill cuts but you will still be disappointed (your expectations will be very, very high considering the name of the album is "The Psyche Funk Of Black Merda")

Thanks king beef, that Stringtronics shit looks great from the preview. Lol about the Black Merda shit, i thought the same. It's not bad, got joints, but the title sounds like it's gonna be the ultimate shit but its not. Thanks.

I wasn't too dissapointed in Psych Funk OF Black Merda myself, but i can see how you'd feel that way, it's basically a collection of outtakes and rarities. Black Merda's proper albums are better, Folks From Your Mother's Mixer in particular. They also made what's possibly the best obscure psychedelic funk album ever under the name Fugi (it was them working with a guy named Fuji). That one is called Mary Don't You Take Me On No Bad Trip, highly highly recommended

I assumed that the compilation was their only material released in album form. I'll have to check out their other albums. I always dug the Fugi album, I had no idea there was a connection.

 king beef, thanks. Ah, I'm gonna guess that "Power Surge" joint is that drum break that was on some comps. Nice.

No shit, they're some the best albums. Last year, I needed 13 dollars worth of stuff on amazon to get the free shipping so I bought a new copy of Pieces of a Man. I recently got a Pyle Pro preamp to get the player working and needed 8 more dollars, so I got the other two used for 8 total. A lot of the cheap, used vinyl I found was from the username Cherry Creek Books, which is eligible for the free shipping. The records themselves are in good condition but they put barcode stickers on the back.

Birth Control
Anyone heard of this band? It's standard psych/prog rock, but the difference being the prolific discography. Most equivalent bands only released one self titled album

I've heard of them just in traversing the blogosphere, never really checked them out though.

Co-sign the fuck out of The Litter album posted above. This song rapes:

Their other albums Emerge and $100 Fine are also worth checking.

Props to drizzle on the Black Merda - Folks From Mother's Mixer recommendation. That song "My Mistake" is incredible!

And even though I killed you a year ago
for messing with my wife
it cost you your life, my brother
it was my mistake
...
I should have killed herrrrrrrr
