Yeah, it's called "Keep On". From the Cenobites LP which is the same as what serch is talking about.
Me and Jaz were recently discussing some other dope tracks they had playin on that blog but we couldn't id them even though we heard 'em before.
We should've brought the id's here.

Hey guys, just gonna refresh this request since it's been quite a while since i mentioned it:
A J Sands(from Lone Catalysts) track. From between 2001 and 2003, most probably 2001 though. Real mellow beat, might be called "Between The Sheets", its a weed song. Bobbito played it like 3 or 4 weeks straight i think in 2001. I asked J Sands online and he didn't remember, said he would check google,

If anyone was taping 89tec9 in this century, you probably have it and will know it when you hear it. I just wanna hear this shit again, great weed anthem cool out schitt.

I am looking for the name of a song I recorded on college radio back in 1997. I don't have the tape anymore, but I remember bits and pieces of the song.
First of all, the artists were from Philadelphia. The beat had an old gritty jazz piano sample. You could hear the record popping. The piano loop was reminiscent, melancholy, somber. I believe the chorus had a sample from Fat Joe that goes like this: "Let me do my thing".
The artist is obscure, and I have been asking people for years... including the college radio DJ who originally played it.
Your help is appreciated!

alright, i got a question. there's this track here by King Solomon-Fine Thin Line. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QxylFk9T84
i've never heard it before BUT i noticed it uses the same sample as this other song i know - which is the song i need an ID on. The other song uses a much larger portion of the sample. I don't know why i was thinking it could be copywrite or JMT on it. It's probably not. Hopefully if/when you guys see the video above, you'll recognize the sample and make the connection to the song i'm looking for. Thanks in advance.

^I'll try to remember atlantis, thanks. I came home in late January 2001 and i remember this song being close to there. Maybe around between Jan and March 2001.
Also, on that id you need, maybe it's a One Be Lo joint? Those kind of samples were used a lot obv, but i'm not sure.
Eisbar: I know the song you talkin about but can't think what it is. Hopefully it'll come to me and i'll post it but i can't promise. I thought you were talkin bout Godfather Don's "Do My Thing" joint at first, but when you say its the Fat Joe vocal sample, i remember something using that same part.
