the contents of post.

was cleaning the apartment to a yacht rock playlist this afternoon - eff what you heard, ambrosia's got jams - came across the latter third of the doobie's minute by minute. got to chopping, and put together some'm pretty retarded, i think. seriously, i'm pretty sure you'll dig this. stuck the source material at the beginning so to validate my stunting. ;)

here's a pretty standard beat, janis ian loop - big ups to ayentee for being the only other hip-hop cat i've heard use her material - supplemented by a mess of extra noises.

DivShare File - Something_s Wrong.mp3

one take draft of a newish acoustic tune y'all might dig.

will check everyone's stuff in the morning, gotta crash. thanks for listening, deuces.

Great work all around, man. "Burn It Slow" is about to find it's way to the iPod. Hope you don't mind.

thanks for listening, fam. also, i'm kinda surprised y'all dig the burn it slow tune. seriously, i was pretty nervous about dumping it up in this space. s'like serving lamb ragu in a sushi bar, not sure that it fits the context all that well. but, i appreciate your appreciation.

here's something else along the same lines that i really like. am probably gonna fill it out with a heap of other sounds, but it works as is, i think.

Burn it slow was AMAZING. My wife said she liked it too, so...there you go if that's your audience. :)

i never have any issues with a beat being standard or whatnot..the artist is obscure for hip hop producers because the sample size is so small and repetitive. i always thought that unless you use a virtual unknown source record you are going to be forgetable. this..is so mellow and chill that it is a perfect early morning mix. like this one very much
