Fitch was robbed. Fitch did what wrestlers do, we grind and break your will. BJ sounded like if he didn't get blessed by the judges because his name is BJ Penn he would have retired. Fitch successfully broke BJ's will the judges just didn't see it that way.

Penn won the first 10-9
Second round was either Fitch 10-9 or 10-10
Fitch 10-8 in the third because BJ literally did not do anything

Did anyone see Spencer Fisher vs Ross Pierson fight ( i didnt )? I used to be a huge Spencer Fisher fan, that second fight vs Sam Stout was NUTS, but he lost that edge and started losing a lot. I think he is about to get cut. Too bad , dude was a talanted Mui Thai fighter... its over for him.

I had BJ barely barely barely winning. I can live with a draw. It all really comes down to how you feel about 10 - 8 rounds how you feel about a work rate vs damage done.

Overall i thought this was card was a solid average one down the line. No stinkers but nothing great.

WITH THAT SAID. even if BJ won he's too small to be at 170. If he won had to fight all the guys in the division he's just too little. Fitch looked huge compared to him.

Bj could've made it a standup fight, but he chose to try and top Fitch at the ground game. Hat off to BJ for his courage, but that was dumb move.

Bj has been and always will be at his best at 155. The only problem is he doesn't possess the motivation to live the lifestyle he needs to live at 155. He has all the talent in the world he just lacks the dedication to make the most of it.

170 is overcrowded with wrestlers which makes it a boring division.
