People that equate intelligence with being able to speak well/articulately/public speaking are retarded.

kanye reminds me of him quite a bit. it was kinda painful to watch.

For the record, Bush actually says "it was one of the most disgusting moments of my presidency", not "the worst moment" as Lauer puts it.

understandable.

but aren't rappers supposed to be good public speakers?

why? and for who?

and anyone who ever thought he was articulate is a damn fool. hes always been the guy who so obviously tries too hard to be articulate. this interview shows it 100%. hes a dumb nigga tryin to graduate to smart-dumb nigga.

"i want to give it the exact, perfect wording"...

well guess what you big jawed fuck, matt lauer did that in 4 seconds while it took you 5 fuck minutes.

matt lauer should have called him a nigger and went to commercial.

wheres the visibly umad emoticon?
 This entire rant is golden.

If Kanye got up went in the back where the producers were talking and started going even more ape shit, this would've been a more classic moment.

i think it's the media's inability to move on is probably what ticked him off the most...i know i'd be upset if someone kept bringing up nothing but negative shit about me all the time.

He's back peddling now BUT when he said George Bush doesn't like black people.. He was not giving a prepared speech he was talking aloud and probably scared shitless he was about to say what he was about to say.

At the time he perfectly articulated what MANY felt and even pointed out he was a hypocrite for having been shopping himself before helping. He knew how serious it was an was forced to really deal with it and took that moment to go OFF the cue cards and say what he felt as opposed to just being a talking head...

Since then he's fucked up more than a few times.. redeemed himself just as many times and continues to move himself and his career forward.. If you can't speak well in public you can't achieve these things.

Bush being a racist or not that one sentence arruredly BOOSTED efforts. You can bet if ole George felt anything about that moment it was panic.. and made his won focus even stronger. Kanye wanted MORE action NOW. I would believe that statement did almost as much for the effort as all the footage the media had been showing and he was right.. a black family would be shown as looting. a white one as surviving. He made some very important point on his own accord and in a sense probably made more than a few people really take note that hadn't been or had been focusing on the wrong issues. PEOPLE WERE DYING and there needed to be more concern regardless of the color percentage of those affected.

I know my grammar sucks. I speak well in public. I may stammer at one point.. pause to recall an exact word to get my point acrossed but in the end there are two main points: Did you get your point across ? and did you effect the situation you were trying to ? in both instances Kanye did this. Fomr the media to George Bush himself he made his points blaringly clear and made people do MORE. He got the reactions and actions he was looking in so much as any 1 person can.

Greater than or equal to? I'd say they're equal. Yayo holds really fierce rallies.

Why do people still talk about Taylor Swift and Kanye at the VMAs? The entire thing was schewpid, I mean who really gives a shit? That's almost as annoying as me complaining about it being annoying.

if you bitch about the way kanye handles himself in the media, theres no way you can be a fan of that oddfuture bullshit from your rocking chair, grandpa.
how the fuck do you think tyler is going to handle interviews.
