So, did they play any crazy shit or was it mostly them talking and playing joints they loved?
I peeped the youtube clips and shit was like deja vu. I had totally forgotten about sears "GUILLLLLLEEEE!" sound.

Same here, I've co-opted / adopted that to some degree but haven't ever seen it appear in written form until now.

Verge, can I be cheeky and request you post a link to the Eclipse rip of the show?

I've spent all afternoon looking for it but only found some links here which are actually for show from '94 (this isn't a bad thing!!):

http://dirtywaters.blogspot.com/2010/10 ... -show.html

From what I've heard of it so for the reunion is already a classic and one we'll be playing to our grandkids when we're all old and grey.

I've got crazy memories of the show after first importing some tapes into the UK during the 90s, the first of which contained the Hurricane G track which was played on the reunion - to me recently emailing Stretch a rip of a show he did with Tim Westwood on Radio 1, to which he sent me a personal email disclosing his actual memories of Tim. Fantastic legacy they've created right there...

edit: Props to the Philaflava guy's efforts for getting the shout out

Wow, fuckin ILL!!! Thanks man. So was this Demo Tape recorded in 1992? 1994? Anyone know who produced "Paddy Shop"?
"Wicked = Genuinely loves Hiphop and respects it because he grew up during the time when it wasn't full of southern mongoloids and Lil Wayne rappers. From his mixes you can tell he knows his shit. The problem is, when you are a smart dude preaching to a bunch of fucking morons, you end up getting singled out as the douche."

Thanks for this, I can't believe I've got a full copy of "Paddy Shop" now. When I heard the track on the show I was just like goddamn that shit is dope. Mobb Deep has some of the illest non-album material out there.
