I was fortunate to catch this episode of underground Hip Hop TV during the release of Enta Da Stage to witness Tek & Steele step from the background of Black Moon and represent themselves in their truest form. From hearing their features on "Black Smif N Wessun" and "U Da Man" I knew something serious was emerging from the Boot Camp Clik that would change the perception of the streets forever, but the raw energy and dark aura of Smif N Wessun displayed in this freestyle really sparked my excitement for their forthcoming debut album.

Feel free to share your thoughts of the era of Enta Da Stage and Dah Shinin', those represent NY like no other albums I can think of. I think Duck Down is still holding the torch for that original street sound they changed with Enta Da Stage, they seem to be releasing quality material still with artists like Marco Polo & Torae, Skyzoo & Illmind, Ruste Juxx and the original Duck Down members.

Enta Da Stage is one of the best hip hop albums of all time IMO, Beatminerz killed it on the production. Dah Shinin is a bit too dark for me, but Stand Strong is amazing - killer drums (from Lightnin' Rod -Sport)

I like Dah Shinin' and possibly Nocturnal as well more than Enta Da Stage.

When shorty I listen to "Killing Everybody Niggerz And Site" to get up pumped to roll with the head skinz and stompy Turkese migrant workerers.

He's been very obviously fakeposting from the start. Anyone who thinks otherwise is retarded.

It is funny, though.

Cool video, btw. I love both "Enta da stage" and "Dah Shinin'" but prefer the latter.

Anyone know if Steele ever used that verse on an actual track?
