Count of The Bogus Boys

Post by blastmaster »

G Count from The Bogus Boys is a cool rapper. They are starting to get popular for the right reasons. Really solid gangster rapping from Chicago. Count reminds me a lot of Prodigy. More in his voice than anything else. If LEP/Bogus Boys are the new LOX, he is their Jadakiss (and Styles) while Moonie actually reminds me of Sheek.

Whats the verdict?!

They have a ton of material out, but here are some personal faves!

Their new, big deal mixtape comes out October 31st. I don't know what a La Roux is, but this song is big. Count crushes the second verse. Creative Control maintain the video killing spree.

It's pretty sad, but it does make you value those who continue to at least try a whole lot more.

You can get a couple on Datpiff. Dont Feed The Killaz 2.5 is probably the best place to start.

If there were any justice in the world, "Mask On" would get radio play.

 its a little too direct for radio play. not enough slang to hide the premise, but yeah, there is little justice in the radio world
