Nah, I thought it looked ghey even back then.

Although, for full disclosure, there was about a month around the same time that this dropped where I downloaded every Genelec & Memphis Reigns track I could find.

The one album they put out was a pretty impressive listen. Surprised they never made a follow up.

always thought the cover was hilarious.

i remember buying lots of shirts and cds from ATAK back in the day. Never had a problem with my orders and I use to send them straight cash. I DO remember Sean having an issue with them.

Employee wrote:P-Minus was a nice cat the few times I saw him at shows in SF and bought tapes from his table. A long time ago Murs punched him in the face and apparently made him look quite the bitch. From there on out, ATAK refused to sell any Murs product. I don't know what the situation is now. But if you lived in California when it happened, IT WAS FUCKING EPIC.
Not to nitpick, but Murs slapped him, not punched.
Although I've seen Murs be a stand up dude in many instances, this was not one of those times. It is mad pussy to put hands on someone you know isn't going to fight back.

One time Murs and El-P performed here and some drunk motherfucker in the crowd got too rowdy off that malt liquor. Murs invited him to come up on stage and set it off if he wanted, so he climbed up and it was obvious he could barely stay on feet. Then he finally punched at Murs, and that's when all hell broke loose, both rappers attacked him with kicks and punches and a couple of slaps, even hit him with the mic so there was a loud sound. Then they threw him down at the crowd again and El-P yelled "YOU DON'T COME TO A HIP HOP SHOW TO GET FUCKED UP". Everyone laughed, and the show continued, and after the show the kid sat hunched over in the back tending to his bruises, lol

Anyway it was funny, but another example of Murs taking advantage of a defenseless dude

I remember the HHI site...............i knew it was heading for implosion once they decided not to review cds any longer and wanted the users to do it instead.
Does anyone have all the reviews backed up onto their computer at all?
