LOL at saying that Les wasn't always the obvious weak link when compared to JuJu and Fashion (when he was fucking with them).

Some of Souls were more obnoxious, but none of them really outshine the other ones imo (maybe a+ at some points).

psycho les is one of the funniest rappers alive and can only be truly appreciated if you grew up in the northeast and had a bunch of crazy not-giving-a-fuck Latino homeboys. Les is the poet laureate for that demographic.

There's a few single album examples like Waterworld, The Cold Vein, and Funcrusher Plus.

I do think De La is the best example though.

Camp Lo was the first group to come to mind, but after I seen Das EFX, EMPD, The Jungle Brothers and The Beatnuts, I have toagree with those as well. Also, to whoever said Mobb Deep, Prodigy was MUCH better and is still better, even though he declined a lot.

Honestly, I agree, but I always considered Opio the occasional show-stealer.

As for the person who brought up Nice 'n' Smooth, they become equal when you factor in that Greg Nice is a Top-10 live performer in Hip-Hop. Absolutely amazingly live in every aspect imaginable.

As for my pick -

I think this was largely because their skill-sets were so different that you couldn't really compare the two. Plus, they were produced to accentuate each others' positives while concealing each others' negatives.

And Camp Lo is another great choice for the exact opposite reason that 3rd Bass were. You can really tell they were two guys who were really born to rap with each other.

There's no doubt that Tash's fast-paced flow along with comedic punchlines were unforgettable (example: "I told cheif/not to start no beef/He tried to shoot me with his gun I caught his bullet with my teeth). I think J-Ro got slept on as far as his style. "Only When I'm Drunk" he pretty much shined the hardest with that drunken style.

Psycho les was the funny and had the most personality but JuJu was real nice to me. He had a dope voice and always said some real hardcore shit. They were a good team. Their beats just started sucking real bad.
