This dude is the Freaky Tah of The LOX. I don't think he is that popular. I don't even think the LOX are popular. If you don't listen to NY radio or browse the internet chances are you don't even know what the fuck a Lox is unless you're in a Jewish deli.
That's probably true, regional differences makes it hard for me to tell who's popular and not outside of the internet. But whenever I used him as an example in similar threads people have been quick to vouch for him, leading me to believe his fanbase is fairly substantial.

I guess if those mislead and impressionable negroes listened to Electric Circus more we would achieve racial harmony and equality? *sigh*
most of his fanbase is suburban north american wiggers who do enjoy seeing black people as court jesters, though. the offsprings of the people who public enemy made uncomfortable.

you as a borkonian representative who would give away his comfortable living off government money ten times over just to have one african american friend to chill with on the weekend puts you in a very small minority population as far as gucci mane fans are concerned.

I dunno about that. If you look at footage from any of his concerts it looks as if he draws an overwhelmingly black crowd and most of his naysayers on here tend to be pretty fucken white, same goes for all the Gucci dislikers I know personally. If you really think those wiggers you speak of needed Gucci Mane to enable their racism, then I don't know what to tell you. If said wiggers are too stupid to seperate reality from any sort of Guccidom, then it's clearly a problem that extends far beyond him. I can laugh with/at him without holding all black people accountable for his words and image, and I imagine only the most stupid individuals would be incapable of doing the same.

I'm dying to know more about my welfare-based income and glamorous perception of minorities with fitted hats, it's like you see right through me :gyeah:

Big KRIT

He doesn't suck, but I don't understand why he's being hailed as the next big thing. Boring as fuck.

Only after I became completely bored of Kiss and P (which didn't take long) did I begin to appreciate Sheek's awful rapping. He's so bad I've become entertained by him. When he really "goes in", lyrically, its pretty funny.

"I stick nailz in you like candles/ piece of cake"

Even his name is awful.

His interviews in the J-Hood beef era were classic too.

Thank you for this CQ. The internets loves to perpetuate this myth.

Especially in the south, these dudes are embraced by their community first. Then the white fans get a late pass for rubbernecking. But the white fans and industry wouldn't be interested without that initial cosign from the hood.

Newsflash, wiggers : just because the core masses approve it first, it doesn't make it any less ignorant and you any less of a racist. Maybe you're not a racist, but whether "da hood" gives the seal of approval has jack shit to do with anything.

And let's face it, out of all the music int he world and you gravitate towards Gucci Mane? You're a racist. Face it.

"most of his fanbase is suburban north american wigger" - this was what I responded to, I don't believe this. Never said anything about "da hood" and I'm not gonna debate about whether listening to Gucci Mane is a vicious act of racism, that's completely absurd.

Yeah my response was entirely in jest. And nonsensical.

But on the real, you are hyper-delusional if you think the majority of this guy's fanbase consists of low-income black people. He is enormously popular among well-heeled guido douchebags, frat boys, and trust fund types here.

At this point, though, you could say this for most rap music that goes mainstream.

Drake
Elzhi
Blu
Aesop Rock
Cage
Vado
Jay-Z
Joe Budden
Cunninlynguists
Gucci Mane
J-Cole
Big KRIT
Wiz Khalifa
Grieves
Anyone Hustle Crowe likes

As for all the Nickatina naysayers:

<object width="450" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/TocNqMZt6F0&hl ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/TocNqMZt6F0&hl=en_US&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="450" height="385"></embed></object>

Do tell how that is "wack", "weird", "off-beat" etc. His whole catalog is more or less like this track.

Anticon as a production troupe. I've said it for years. Sole was cool until he became more sensitive than the underside of my shaft. But Dose is still insanely ill at what he does. You can drop everyone else though. But their beats >>>>>>>>>>>

Drake wetting panties across the world doesn't surprise me. His being cosigned by cats the like of Jay-Z is impossible for me to wrap my head around, you fucking idiot. This is the thread's title, you fucking idiot:
popular artists you can't understand the appeal of
And who the fuck mentioned Sage Francis, you fucking idiot? And did I not state, plainly, that Anticon's beats are infinitely better than their stable of MCs or whoever is in their stable who still raps, you fucking idiot?

Read, faggot.

now just seemed like a good time to mention that you - internet addict freak boy that you are - have incredibly bad taste in music.
Anytime Sage Francis takes a dump you post a link, anytime some obscure Anticon-esque no-talent gets into an agrument online, you post a link.

ergo, you dont really have any business in this thread as you have no idea about anything. your main area of expertise seems to centre around the ability to make vague assumptions about various posters' sexual preferences which is why every single person who reads this forum thinks you are a complete loser, a freak, and an utter cunt.

Jay-Z is overrated. There is no way around it. He is like the Aerosmith of rap. I get that a lot of you freshly post-community college fuckwads are fans, but save for a handful of tracks, he doesn't do anything for me. Hence the title of the thread, you illiterate faggot.

If you're suggesting that someone over thirty should automatically understand why people in your same age range, people with penises, rep for this dude like he is the alternate earth's Rakim, you're a pillow biter, ace. The argument for not understanding his appeal is not to be made in regards to the 12-18 "demo", but the people who are in their mid-late twenties/early thirties. The shit is unacceptable, you fucking idiot, illiterate faggot.
