Chris Leben tapped Akiyama with less than a minute left for his 2nd win in two weeks. Holy shit.

Just heard him call out Wandy, though... bad move, Leben.

Carwin was whuppin' that ass in round one. Had me worried. Thought the ref was gonna step in on two different occasions.

My brother was watching while Brock was in half guard, saying "He's gotta get his head out from under his arm". I joked, "Unless Brock's gonna go for a head-and-arm triangle..." at which point Lesnar jumped to mount and shot right past it into the triangle.

Carwin easily could've won that. Great fight.

So much for Grove's punishment. He gets a spot after the biggest Main Event all year.

Great card.

MY HEAD JUST EXPLODED :)

Vermillion with the correct pick lol. Carwin is strong though. I still don't see ANYONE besides Brock taking those shots. Definitley a good NON stoppage. I think Rosenthal is the best ref in the UFC right now.

Valasquez vs Brock is gonna be interesting. So is the Leben vs Wand..

I'm not a Leben fan at all, and Wand is an alltime favorite, but Wand isn't getting any younger.

I really want to see a rematch. This was pretty much the hardest test Lesnar will face in the division correct? (ouside of Overeem?)

Another great card by Zuffa. 3 of the best card of the year were by them in my opinion (WEC 48, WEC 49, UFC 116).

Carwin is still the man.. If it wasn't "THIS" fight, it would have been stopped in round 1 when Lesnar was getting tooled on just like it get's stopped every other fight.. props to him staying in it though but Carwin is the man. Nobody deserves another shot right now more than Carwin. The sad thing is that division should probably just be Carwin and Lesnar fighting each other every time for the title cause nobody is fucking with either of those dudes.

I think Velasquez will give him problems. If I were match maker this is what I would do

Lesnar vs Velasquez
Carwin vs winner of Dos Santos/Nelson for #1 contendership

Not to mention they could match up fighters like Mir, Nogueira, Cro Cop, Gonzaga, Duffee, Kongo etc. to help create some mroe contenders. Can't wait to see what kind of fights the UFC puts on.

Really? I'm sure Velasquez is smiling right now after seeing this fight. This was the perfect fight to see, because it gave us a lot of answers. Lesnar vs Velasquez will be good. He seen Lesnar not know what to dow ith himself on the feet and get his takedowns shrugged. Sure he will have size, but it didn't help too much against Couture, who was outmatched in every physical way. Sure their were positives in this fight though. We seen Lesnar show the hurt and come back and use submissions, but we know more about Velasquez. He shown he could come back from a beating as well, when Kongo hurt him multiple times. Velasquez has better stand up, better cardio and ultimately better gaurd passing and control. Might have better wrestling. He's also nearly 10 years younger. Neither Lesnar or Carwin looked great last night, but it was a great fight. Can't wait for it though.

Cain Velasquez. Great wrestler, good stand up, decent power, good cardio and has heart. Still young and undefeated.

cain has amazing standup, but he got tagged three times by kongo and all of them brought him to a knee. i doubt he can handle 3 punches to the face from lesnar. there NEEDS to be another carwin/lesnar rematch before the end of the year.

Kongo actually knows how to throw a punch, and even though Cain did get tagged, he kept going and secured take downs. Lesnar vs Carwin won't before the end of the year, especially not an immediate rematch..

Dig That

- Bonnar's post fight speech LOL @ that shit

- Powerbomb by Gerald Harris

- Chael Sonnen giving his own eulogy during the previews for 117

- Shane Carwin's wink to Brock in the second round that just screamed
"You know I'ma kill you.... right?"

HELL NAAAAAAAW!!!!!
- Brock Lesnar doing a Tito Ortiz vs. Wanderlei (running away and covering) impression after getting his ass tagged multiple times by Carwin.

- Lieben calling out Wanderlei......don't get yourself killed dude.

- Sexyama gassing after the second round

- Shane tapping.....dammit.....never saw a submission from Brock Lesnar coming.

- Shane blowing his damn load (no homo) in the first round while beating dog shit out of Lesnar.
