The Coen Brothers

Are there any regular movie watchers that really dig the Coen brothers? I just watched a Serious Man tonight, I got it, but it was fucking boring. Wasn't a huge fan of No Country for Old Men either. Their shit is just really slow and dry for my liking.

I hope this thread isn't going to be one pretentious faggot after another. I know you both have raging hard ons for me, so I don't expect much from you, but if someone could give me a reason why they like the Coen brothers so much, that would be great.

try burn after reading, its a hilarious political type comedy if that is your type of thing, the films bugged out, its proper jokes, had me in stitches

I didn't really like A Serious Man either. At the end of the day it's a "good film" but it wasn't enjoyable to watch. Although not liking No Country for Old Men though is :arrow:

the TV edited version near me has Walter say "THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU FEED A STRANGER SCRAMBLED EGGS" or "THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU FIND A STRANGER IN THE ALPS"
