I have been trying til collect pre-releases, advances, promos etc. of albums, that in some way or another are different from the retail versions. Some of these are also pre-releases of unreleased albums, meaning that they are unmastered or in one way or another unfinished.

I have a couple of others, that I will try and get up tonight.

I know there a tons of these floating around, and a lot of them are only Internet bootlegs, please only post confirmed albums. As a matter of fact, can anybody confirm that the Hittman album is legit, as I have heard some say it's a bootleg.

I heard the demo of Stankonia was different, at least there was a different first version of bombs over baghdad?

I think ultimatel there are demo versions of everything, it just depends on which ones lieaked more widely.

A few good ones I should rip sometime are Haiku de Tat and the Slim Shady LP.

For some reason only the first 7 tracks of this showed up in the folder.

I actually had a bootleg copy of this version of this album. It might be on a spindle some where but I thought this version was better than what came out.

Anyone have the Nas "I Am" Leak?

I agree, there probably are demo versions of every single song and album, the special thing about these albums on the other hand, is that up until the very last minute, they were thought of as being finished, and therefore were presented at the finished product via promo copies, advances, pre-releases etc. and sent out to radio stations, magazines for review, DJ's etc. In that perspective, these aren't actually demo's but the actual record, as the artist/recordlabel first envisioned them... and that is ultimately what I find fascinating. (sorry for any spelling errors, I hope I make any sense)

Would definitely like to hear that Haiku D'etat, what album is it?
I didn't know there was a different version of the Slim Shady LP, is it legit?

I will re-upload Outsidaz "The Bricks" tomorrow.

It's the first Haiku album with some different tracks and different vocal takes fo rmost of it...

The Slim Shady LP I've got is mostly stuff from the album, but missing lots of tracks, but also including a different mix of Just Don't Give a Fuck that's way better than the EP or LP versions (it's like a beefed up version of the EP version). There's also a version of murder murder which I believe was slightly different from the EP but i'm not sure.

Someone needs to upload the advance of Slim Thug's Already Platinum. Neptunes production was so good on that advance, plus it has a great jay z verse that wasnt on the album.
