did grieves pursue RSE or was it the other way around?
we don't accept demos, if that's what you are asking.
we work with friends.
malpractice wrote:it's my understanding that mac left RSE himself to do his own thing and help people like ungrateful, backstabbing grieves pop off.
that is a great line.
stare at it like one of those magic mall pictures.
tell me if you can see what i see.

that's a bitch move. im sorry. it is.
well gosh, half of our roster started somewhere else.

it's not the same thing and you know it.

and im kinda surprised by how hard you're baiting me about this.

you and mac are friends, yes?
but you're also friends with grieves? really?
that just doesnt make a lot of sense to me.

and no one wants to say anything other than "you dont know what happened".

you and mac have both said there's no bad blood amongst rse/black clover, but you're rallying awfully hard for this kid and bordering insulting mac and his label.

besides, why does it matter what i think anyways?
teenage girls love grieves, ive seen it. that'll be perfect for selling records. who cares what i think?

the bottom line is.

whether or not you or i know what really happened, i dont think he's talented and im entitled to say so. and im sure it gets dismissed as hearsay, but if enough people start murmuring about what a dick you are all the time, there's probably some truth to it. but thats only one of the reasons i think hes wack. he doesnt have the talent to back up his attitude, imo.

you are frustrating me.
i am going to sleep!

Lmao at "Grieves is a snake! Why won't he call me back?"

I'd totally be checkmated by that logic if it were applicable. But it's not. It's a funny paraphrase though.

Confused by the mall picture line. The two situations aren't comparable in my opinion.

uh, how do you figure?
grieves did not leave black clover for rse.
grieves left black clover for grieves.
grieves accepted our offer.
end.
malpractice wrote:and im kinda surprised by how hard you're baiting me about this.
don't be.
you came in here to spew second-hand shit that you know absolutely nothing about.
you know that to be true.
why wouldn't i refute you?
you could have laid low, and waited.
mac would have eventually came in to throw darts.
and since this isn't his board, i would have responded the same way.
malpractice wrote:you and mac are friends, yes?
but you're also friends with grieves? really?
that just doesnt make a lot of sense to me.
because i don't base my friendships on some he-said-she-said bullshit.
it's a fucking one-sided high school lover's quarrel.
and you're sitting at the lunch table picking sides?
malpractice wrote:and no one wants to say anything other than "you dont know what happened"
why would anyone give you anymore than that?
you have nothing to do with it.
in fact, knowing you have nothing to do with it, don't you find it odd that anyone involved would give you their side?
malpractice wrote:you and mac have both said there's no bad blood amongst rse/black clover, but you're rallying awfully hard for this kid and bordering insulting mac and his label.
slow down. where did i borderline insult anyone?
the mall pic thing?
rofl.
interpretation is a choice yo.
rallying? i guess.
grieves is good people.
end.

the who-cares-what-i-think technique.
much easier than admitting that you were wrong.
i see you.
run along now. you're not built for this type of trash.

good evening mac.

how is that logic not applicable?
you call the guy a bunch of names, and in the same breath talk shit about how he won't call you.
the few people i hate don't call me either, kinda weird eh?
it's illogical yo.

in my opinion, the two situations are comparable.

i said, "ugh" and then you baited me. "tell me what the problem is" etc etc.
when you already know how i feel about this because i posted about it elsewhere. you just wanted to start shit with me because i dont know why.

im not wrong, and what the fuck is this "hlb" shit? i take more hits than a lot of people here. im not afraid to be unpopular. you probably know me better than anyone else here, but you're trying to act like im just some asshole who needs to be put in her place. my opinion on philaflava is not going to affect grieves or his album one bit.

This isn't true.

I'm honest to god not going to throw darts. I've wasted enough of my own time being resentful and venomous over it. But, simply put, that is a false statement. We can discuss it off forum if you want.

and yeah, i baited you to talk more shit because i knew you would.
i manipulated this opportunity to give you some perspective.
it's your choice whether or not you take it.
rofl, and you pull the "least popular kid here" shit.
that fits with the who-cares-what-i-think shit.
all of these cats clown on you, and you take it with thick skin.
but when i give you some static you take it personal.
truss the high level boarding thing was a joke.

1. Good evening man. How's the little guy developing?

2. It's not applicable. I don't give a shit if he calls me now. I was referencing the months and months leading up to this. Before I ever shit on him in public (ayo). He never once called me to inform me that he was not satisfied. In fact, he enthusiastically said the exact opposite. Without getting into too much heresy we knew about the "offer(s) on the table" and how he was "turning them down."

My point in him not calling me was that during the development of this shitstorm; he never once gave me a call to discuss things. When he decided to break out, he didn't even call me. He had his manager call my manager for him. I still have yet to hear a peep out of him.

3. True, both of us left our labels. That's where the comparability ends, in my opinion. My sentiments of the utmost respect and appreciation remain the same for RSE. I fought hard, and passionately wished the outcome would have been different. I won't publicly say anything other than that. The situation with Grieves and BCR was very much different from my situation with RSE. Again, we can discuss that in private if you see it differently and feel it needs to be examined, but I am unwilling to talk about it publicly.

I pondered typing 12-13 paragraphs to dispute this claim, but I'm not going to.

While I consider you a very honest friend of mine, with no reason to lie, and definitely no history of lying. I think this particular idea is a crock of shit. Let me reiterate though -- I don't think you are lying. I just think it's untrue.

I call for a stalemate on this. Because you are also allowed to interpret his departure however you want.

1. Awesome.

2. I will try to shorten this, so we are clear.

The chronology of how things unfolded makes "Grieves is a faggot! Why won't he call me?" inapplicable logic. The dart throwing happened after he pulled the bullshit. Not the other way around. "Grieves never even called me. What a faggot!" Is a much more accurate way of depicting my stance on this. End.

3. Couldn't agree more.

two managers talk to each other and dude got to skate without the actual artist and label head talking? no meeting involved? breach of contract anyone (assuming there was one)?
