Shaq is an exception to the rule
Plus, Phil has Professor X type powers so he can handle players and the media. If the criticism continues, SVG may lose it and shave his mustache.

I can't knock the seasons that Bryant & Wade both had, but Chris Paul only making the 2nd team doesn't do him justice. They either need to have a spot for each position or just pick the 5 best players as the first team and so on.Money Gripp wrote:All-NBA First Team

I didn't know that was the kid.
From the way they described it, I thought it was some little frail child who was thrown to the floor.
This is some fat kid who barely got touched and his hat fell off.

Was looking at his 08 stats. Move TD up to second, and Gasol to third.

Judge rejects Blount's claim

HAMILTON, Ohio -- Former NBA player and University of Cincinnati star Corie Blount was sentenced to one year in prison on Wednesday in a plea arrangement resulting from drug charges.

Cheech and Chong would have had a hard time smoking that much.

-- Judge Craig Hedric, during Corie Blount's sentencing
Blount, 40, had pleaded guilty in Butler County Common Pleas Court last month to two felony counts of marijuana possession after prosecutors dropped two trafficking charges.
Blount was arrested Dec. 4 after sheriff's deputies intercepted 11 pounds of marijuana sent to him at a relative's house. Investigators said they found another 18 pounds in a subsequent search of his home.
Although Judge Craig Hedric did not sentence Blount to the maximum 10 years in prison, he rejected Blount's claim that the marijuana was intended for personal use and to share with friends.
"Cheech and Chong would have had a hard time smoking that much," Hedric told Blount.
Hedric fined Blount $10,000 and ordered him to surrender two vehicles and $34,000 in cash seized in the bust.
Blount was a first-round draft pick by the Chicago Bulls in 1993. In an 11-year NBA career, he also played for the Los Angeles Lakers, Cleveland Cavaliers, Phoenix Suns, Philadelphia 76ers and Toronto Raptors.

because you don't apply it fairly, Pierce has a great rep but he's been awful, Dirk has an awful rep but just had an absurd 4th quarter with his team facing eliminationan-also wrote:I've been saying Orlando isnt as good as their record all year so its not overreacting. weird things happen in short series, even in basketball where variance isn't a huge factor like it is in baseball and football, you assume that its always the true colors showing up, but when you have games where a single shot's outcome can change who wins you are grossly underrating the raw luck factor
that and you underrate performance in the first 3quarters like its totally meaningless, part of being "clutch" is not having your team in close games in crunchtime, where a single lucky bounce can turn a win to a loss

You still havent addressed why Orlando is a legit 59 win team. They struggled with 6ers team and now are down 3-2 to a team thats without its best post defender and rebounder and team leader.
The only reason i can see you trying to make Orlando out to be some sort of juggernaut is because if Lebron faces them in the next round and gets past them, you can use that in some sort of argument about Lebron having the greatest season of all time. Admit it. There is no other reason to make Orlando out to be something special when they clearly aren't.

because +6.6PD is a legit team, teams with that kind of PD nearly always are 56+ win teams especially when you are an elite defensive team like Orl
their playoff losses are by 2, 2, 16, 1, 4
their wins are by 9, 3, 13, 25, 5, 21
they've lost a few games on last second plays and have generally won fairly convincingly
91pistons for reference(pre bulls series)
losses 5, 12, 6, 32
wins 13, 12, 32, 11, 7, 5, 4

Dallas was just outclassed this series but they had some pretty stinky performances. If I was them I would keep Dirk, Barea & Bass & fire everyone else. If I was Dirk I'd try to pull a KG & get traded to a team that's not on the decline.
