Yeah he was part of Doo Wop's Bounce Squad and generally you'll find his stuff under the spelling Snaggapuss (the original spelling of his name) or SnaggDaDon and he's also had nicknames (non-rap nicknames I think) like Pucci and Pooch.step one wrote:he's on alot of Doo Wop mixtapes from the early/mid 90s. have a look around the blogosphere. Pushin Tapes and Recognize The Real are the best places to start i'd imagine.Yakub Shabazz wrote: anything by Snagglepuss (he was on that one Brand Nubian joint - don't know if he even did anything else)

It's this joint I been trying to track down since the 90's.JustDuWitt wrote:Verge wrote:^Yes, that's it! I remember now, thanks for reminding me.
At least I got more to work with now.
The same kid that had this record had that 'Quarter To Midnight' vinyl, but he said it was ruined when he left it in his shed for like 3 years.
whats the Quarter to Midnight vinyl you speak of???
Bobbito played it once. It had an ill kinda eerie sounding flute sample.
The only lyrics I remember are,"It's a quarter to midnight" or,"at a quarter to midnight". I was always pretty positive that was the title of the track, but you never know. I thought it could have been by Ill Distracxion because the production reminds of 'Calm Wit Datrom', but they said they never heard of it. Bobbito don't remember it.
But my boy had it on vinyl. I'm pretty sure it's label on the record was silver with either burgundy or black writing.
I've exhausted a lot of people trying to find this cut.
But I'm positive it exists and it's an ill track.
If it rings any bells, let me know. It's one of probably only about a handful of songs that I requested here that hasn't surfaced.

Anybody know if this Sharpshooters album has any tracks as dope as 'Analyze' on it?

If it does, I will buy this shit.

I like it quite a bit, I've actually had it uploaded for a couple weeks now but haven't yet posted it on my blog. Though Analyze is the best cut, I imagine you'd like the whole album for the most part, Analyze is one of the most "hip-hop" tracks on it. Here's the link: http://uploadbox.com/files/73073374ad

^Thank you, my friend. I really don't know anything about them, but heard that Analyze cut and had to look for it. Then, when I saw the whole album was only $30 at discogs, I had to scratch my head.
I figured it would be some ridiculous 3 figure price.
Not bad.

I'm also looking for pretty much any C-Town, Microphone Nut and Stan Spit material (that isn't from any Big L songs and isn't already up on Big L Affiliates).
C-Town and Stan Spit are both supposed to have mixtapes out. One of C-Town's is called C-Town is Crack.
And (non-YouTube) video rips of:
Big L at The Apollo Theatre in '92.
Big L at The Subterranea in London (during the '97 O.C. Jewelz tour).
Big L at the DMX & Jay-Z battle.

Boricua's Bond.
