i haven't seen him play too much but supposedly he profiles as a future defensive stopper.
Right now, Batum's still learning how to play on the ball defense. He makes it tough since he has such long arms and is always active, but he has a lot to learn.

In a few years, he'll be a lot like Tayshaun Prince defensively. He's already mastered the hustle from behind and block the fast break layup/dunk. He has at least 10+ of those this year. He just needs to put some muscle on and continue to get experience since he only averages about 16-18 mins a game.

In other words, he's better vs Kobe than Roy, Rudy or Outlaw (the other options) but he's not going to bother Kobe like Battier or someone of that elite defensive caliber.

Just got back from my first game of the season. Great fuckin game, and huge win for the Bulls. Hopefully we can carry some momentum into the playoffs and steal a couple games.

If you where smart you would want to miss the playoffs and hopefully get lucky with a lottery pick again.

nice.

I'm never usually for my teams throwing to get good picks, but considering the bulls wind up with #1 more often than not, this may be one of those times.

I mean we have the Hawks to cheer for in the playoffs, and they have a shot to make some noise.

In closing out moments of the game I still want Roy on Kobe, when he can give it focus for short bursts(due to carrying offense) Roy is one of the elit eperimiter defenders. HIs strength gives Kobe problems ala Paul Pierce

and to Reason I can see Hansborough being a poor man's David Lee

i get wgn and i gotta say, d-rose just keeps making better decisions as the season progresses. he is so sick fast with and without the ball, and he really impressed me the few times he got dub-teamed in terms of whom he chose to pass to

I'd be happy and shocked if the Bulls can get 2 wins in the first round. Season turned out alright, Vinny lives to coach another year, I mean I give them credit for making it back to .500. I just can't believe how much trading for Salmons and Miller has done for them.

they are a lock to be eliminated no matter who they face(unless there is a way they can get the 4 still and get homecourt for a round)

I hate Lebron and the Cavs, but 39-1 is remarkable.

I'd agree. Someone made the comparison with Bo Jackson recently and I think it's on point. He does things that just don't seem humanly possible.

So do people think going into the playoffs that the Cavs are the team to beat? Especially considering the Celtics injury woes, and the likelihood that Cleveland will finish with a better record than LA.

Or did they in handing the Celtics their worst loss of the season just pick a fight with a bully they shouldn't've fucked with?

And LA is LA again plus Bynum.
