Badge info on the website... I mean it aint cheap but its pretty fuckin great what ya get. If you in the scene trying to make things happen its a must, aint no tellin how many connections you can make. If you are a music fan, there is a lot of access to artists and you can see more shows then you'd ever want. Wu tang a couple years back was off the chain....

thats only happened a couple times... and most of the time is because the people throwing it go to all of the trouble of making a bad ass party but they don't get a permit for the noise.. or they fucked up and put the SXSW logo on the flyer...The Iron Sheik wrote:i find the free shit looks the best but usually ends up getting shut down
there is a lot of conspiracy theories when it comes to sxsw staff and their "vendetta" to protect the label.. but to me its understandable.. its their shit and its amazing how many people try and eat of it for free...
myself included......

300.00 for a wristband up to 1000 for a badge.
Badges allow you to go to industry parties and shit...
Last year; Slug, ZionI, Grouch, Murs, Sandpeoples, DJ Jaysauun, Wale, Rheteric, and a few others were all inside one of the badge only spots just downin some drinks and meshing.
It is fun, but finding a place to stay is kinda expensive if you wait til the last minute to do it. Though I'll tell you it is a crazy event, all downtown austin is packed to something similar to times' square in NYC on new years.

kill it, Rollie. i have pics/footage of you last year that's not released... that party at that little stage by the restaurant near the bridge was nutzo...
basically: some things are underwhelming at SXSW, and the rest is overwhelming
still was not impressed that there was a fucking brawl at the Pimp C Tribute last year.
