FUCK

Fans of rap duo Ghetto Dwellas and D.I.T.C. are mourning the loss of Bronx veteran emcee Party Arty.
The emcee passed away this afternoon (Thursday December 4) due to undisclosed health complications, as reported by inside sources.
Arty is remembered for coming up under A.G. of Show & A.G. fame, and being featured on several D.I.T.C. releases, as well as several singles with partner D-Flow on Get Dirty Records as Ghetto Dwellas.
He worked with legendary producers like DJ Premier, Show, Lord Finesse and Madlib on an assortment of projects from Fat Joe [click to read], A.G. and O.C.
Most notably, Arty appeared alongside brethren Lord Finesse, Microphone Nut, Y.U., Grand Daddy I.U. and Jay-Z on "Da Graveyard" [click to read] from the seminal 1995 album Lifestylez ov Da Poor & Dangerous from the late Big L.
Per reports from DJPremierBlog.Blogspot.Com [click here], Party Arty was at one time, a considered artist for 50 Cent and G-Unit.

:gyeah: Thanks Ho1o. I used to talk to one of the kids that produced the movie, when I used to go diggin' in Manhattan earlier this decade.I actually went to the screening of SBX when it came out. It was pretty surreal, sitting next to Perce and in front of AG and Mike Smooth, while watching them on screen(well,I don't think Mike was in the flick, but whatever). Spoke to Edan(who I had only seen his name on a few records and didn't know who he was before that night) after the show about rare records and shit.Bought some goods and some regs off AG. Shhhhh! Great night.
Actually, shit was pretty funny. It wasn't the only film being shown,it was like an indy film fest.So you got all these artsy uppity people sitting on one side of the theatre and all the heads on the other side. They played a few flicks before SBX that were mad boring and had us all being pretty noisy and walking in and out to smoke cig's and shit. But this one came on and it was just this dude playing a violin. But dude's really,I mean really rippin' on it.But they're zooming in on the faces he's making while playing. So now you start hearing chuckles here and there from our side. Then,at the end of him ripping on the violin,a tear rolls down his left cheek.
All of us bust out laughing, while the uppity's just looked at us in disgust.Classic night.

Wow, that must've been one night. I wish I had stories like that to share. @ the uppity folk. How were their honest reactions after watching the film?

It be dope if you could up your dvd copy. I saw bits and pieces of it, but never the whole. There's tons of tutorials on youtube on how to rip dvd to good quality formats. I use Mac The Ripper but I'm not sure what program to use on PC.

Verge - here are some step by step, very easy instructions for using Fair Use Wizard.

http://forum.archosfans.com/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=8348

I've done it before, time consuming but it definitely works.

I don't know about their reactions to SBX,as we were pretty much cheering and making noise at the end.
Thanks for the advisories,I'ma get on ripping this dvd right now.
Hopefully I'll post a link for it in a little while. :megaman:
