I'm far from a big Tom Brady fan, but you have to be retarded to actually think he isn't a top5 QB

Raiders signed Javon Walker 6 year $55 mil, $16mil guaranteed. Can't believe they paid so much. I wanted Jerry Jones to take a look at him, but not for that much.

The return of Marty Booker to the Bears. Hooray. John Madden can circle his hands and talk about how big they are.

If the Bears can stay healthy on defense they can atleast keep the season respectable but with that offensive line and our bizarre RB and not really having a #1 WR....all that probably equals we are one of those teams that can go 7-9 or 9-7.

I dont see the bears winning 7 games.

Grossman doesn't have it. The offensive line is older, the receivers are worse and benson is injured.

The bears have made 0 improvements to a bad squad. Their only hope is that the defense stays healthy and teams kick to Hester. I see a 5 win season and a great draft pick next year

in theory you might be right

the vikes are now the class of the north, we'll sweep you again, and you'll sweep the yellow and lions..could be a 8 win team

losing mohammed was huge, you're o line is kinda ratty and old

put Hester back on defense already

Huge? Not really a loss at all. He became an average but reliable WR to a no show unreliable WR very quickly. He needed to go. Waste of money.

it seems somewhat likely Hester is only NFL-quality at returning punts/kicks/shitty FG attempts

and nothing else, he happens to be the best player at that so he'll still have a job, just he's not going add much at WR other than desperation roster spot with rare burst of brilliance

Broncos Sign Linebacker Boss Bailey

Posted on Thu Mar 06, 2008 at 06:18:02 PM EDT

The Denver Broncos on Thursday signed unrestricted free-agent linebacker Boss Bailey, Head Coach Mike Shanahan announced. As per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Bailey (6-foot-3, 235 pounds) is entering his sixth NFL season and joins the Broncos after spending the last five years with Detroit. The Lions selected him in the second round (34th overall) of the 2003 NFL Draft from the University of Georgia.

Bailey, who has started at least 11 games in every season that he has played, is the younger brother of Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey and followed him as an All-Southeastern Conference selection at Georgia. The two will be the fourth pair of brothers to play for the Broncos and will join Dave and Doug Widell (1990-92) along with Eldon and William Danenhauer (1960) as the third set to play for the franchise at the same time.

The 28-year-old Bailey has appeared in 58 career games (51 starts), posting 258 tackles (188 solo), seven sacks (40.5 yds.) and two interceptions (32 yds.). He also has registered 13 pass breakups, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and seven special-teams tackles for his career.

In 2007, Bailey posted a career-high 3.5 sacks (16.0 yds.) while adding 47 tackles (33 solo), two pass breakups and one forced fumble in 15 games (12 starts) at strongside linebacker for Detroit. He started eight games at strongside linebacker and four contests at middle linebacker for the Lions in 2006, appearing in all 16 games and totaling 65 tackles (48 solo) with one sack that year.

After missing the 2004 season with a knee injury, Bailey started all 11 games played in 2005 and had 58 tackles, one sack and one interception, which he returned 34 yards for a touchdown. He was named All-Rookie by ESPN.com and Football Digest with Detroit in 2003 when he set a career high with 88 tackles (68 solo) as a 16-game starter.

A first-team All-SEC selection as well as a semifinalist for the Butkus and Lombardi Awards as a senior, Bailey was a three-year starter at Georgia. He received honorable mention All-America honors from USA Today at Charlton County High School in Folkston, Ga.

So who here has watch him play???? I have no clue about him, other than he's champs brother from the Lions.

are you kidding, hester on defense?

Poor WR play is much more forgiving then poor DB play. Hester is decent enough on offense, mostly as a decoy. but he does some good to a bad bears squad.
