I think they are just promo shit floating around, hopefully all the loose end unused shit is thrown onto a extra disc for the last season 5 DVD.

These just underscore how fucking good the kids who acted in S4 were, because the prequels with non awesome kid actors lick balls.
Bunk and McNulty are fucking gold though.
