Live Albums

Post by GM Dizzy Skillespie »

that Talking Heads thread got me thinking:
We need a Live Albums thread... possibly a sticky.

I'll up these eventually:

Stooges - Metallic K.O.
Image

One of the last Stooges shows, possibly THE last. Iggy before the show was on the radio trash talking about local gangs begging them to come to the show and start a fight with him. One of the few records you can hear bottles smashing on stage. Plus Iggy's between songs banter is hilarious as he taunts the crowd.

Band of Gypsies

Jimi's best album, despite the results of the Poll in this forum.

Black Lips - Los Valientes Del Mundo Nuevo

garage rockers that are crazy as fuck with their live show... playing in Tijuana. Its loud as fuck and just a fun listen.

what are some others?

Seriously.

When it comes to live albums two immediately enter my mind. That's one of them. The other is:

The 2-disc Legacy Edition to be specific. Amazing.
