Gotta go with Primo for the more instantly recognizable sound.

I guess you could pick the opposite argument and say that RZA is more versatile...

Impossibe choice.

rza is the better technical producer.

rza is a genius, as primo just has a very very consistant track record at making well formulated classics..

Primo. He has held it down harder than anybody in hip hop.

primo adapts to every artist to make a perfect beat. From M.O.P to devin the dude. RZA deals with wu-tang. I love RZA, but primo is Jordan of beatmaking.

1.Premo
2.Pete Rock
3.RZA

RZA used to be my second favorite, then Pete Rock's tracks just hit me like a mothafucka.

I don't think its possible to be objective about this one. For me, it's Rza but there are any number of valid arguments for voting Primo.

I pick RZA because of the genius factor and the fact that he made 4th chamber. I'm 100% sure if hip hop still inspired RZA he would've bodied everybody for a lot longer.

To me, Primo still knocks out bangers on a regular basis, he gets the vote. I can't even remember the last Rza beat I was feelin.

I may as well throw a dart at a board to get this answer.. Voting Preemo based on the fact Rza nad every producer after him probably was influenced more by Preemo than vice versa.
