Hendrix was and will always be that nigga. That said I voted for him over the Who which did make a stellar classic album just not as good as Hendrix.

Hendrix is that dude, but I havent played a full album of his since 9th grade. Song for song over his career, he would win, but I Who's Next is a better album than Are You Experienced.

This discussion comes up everytime someone mentions The Who (thanks MT), but I'll bite anyway: Pretty much any male that grew up on what is now labeled as "classic rock," is now an adult and probably has kids. In other words, they're dads. So in essence, Jimi Hendrix could just as easily be labeled "dad rock" too. Same with Zeppelin, Floyd, The Stones, etc.

I understand what MT is trying to say; he's basically trying to call The Who music for the male equivalent of soccer moms. That's fine. I'd disagree, but that's fine. Just get a better term is all.
