Appetite.

BSSM has a lot of great songs, but AFD is solid from the front to back. I was only 8 when the album dropped and I didn't know much about what Axl was singing about, but it didn't stop me from learning the words.

If Appetite doesn't win this, there is no hope for the future.

I don't give a fuck about either album, but MT1's doom-mongering scared me into voting for Gn'R.

Blah. Not a big fan of either band. Guess because I heard them so much growing up I don't care for them now. dunno. Went with RHCP. But I kind of regret it already. (don't get me wrong though, both solid albums)

Appetite.

At one stage, BSSM would have been my favourite album and RHCP my favourite band. I haven't listened to them in years though, I find them corny now for whatever reason (they are corny).

Chili Peppers are a terrible terrible band. Their new stuff is still shitty but i'd rather listen to that than ye olde slap-bass-funk-metal with Faggot Kiedis and his zany fratboy rapping over the top of it. Like Moolah sez, they're just corny.

Plus, even though "Appetite.." is kinda played to the point where i can't even listen to it anymore (i'd rather set my finger nails on fire than hear the intro to "Sweet Child Of Mine" again) it still has a couple of songs which haven't been hammered into my brain ad nauseum like "It's So Easy", which was always my favorite song anyway.

Vote : Appetite For Destruction

GNR with their potent combo of metal, punk, and blues. I remember reading that Motely Crue bio the Dirt about how at first they were just a punk band with a few metal overtones. Glad to see they grew. Red Hot Chilli Peppers had a classic too. But I'm gonna go with GNR.

Appetite for Destruction is a superior pub jukebox album. I'd let neither album into my house though.

Can't stand BSSM, it was one of my brother's first tapes and he never stopped playing it. I'll take Mother's Milk over BSSM any day.

Would you vote for Sailing The Seas Of Cheese if it was included in this album tourney btw?

#1 the only reason Anthony Keidis doesn't get the props of say Kurt Cobain is he's still alive.

#2 I wish Axl would have been the one to pull the ole Kurt Cobain in the first place and we still had Kurt.
