Best Debut Verse
From the list, again, not necessarily the best one ever, just the best from the list. (Left Nas off on purpose)
And
It's there first verse on a mainstream/known record. We all know rappers like Keefy Keef had records before Hostile, but come on. I have songs to, but if I rap on Nas album, that's my debut verse. Let's not ruin this thread arguing semantics. I know there's some super-duper underground ehad that probably has a Ras verse from 1987. Doesn't matter.
Now with that....vote.

Yeah I left his off with Nas, just to make it more balanced. I'm sure they'd get the most votes.B. Ware tha Siniq wrote:I went with Kurupt... love that joint.

Re: Best Debut Verse
It's pretty amazing that he has "greatest debut guest-spot" on absolute lock and key. I don't know too many people who'd dispute that fact.Magneto wrote:(Left Nas off on purpose)
Voted for Jeru, could very well have voted for Redman or Snoop. But the way he just comes in and makes Guru and Dap irrelevant on that joint is incredible.

Keith Murray's, comin from the North South East and Left
Rhymin to death, makin a world when I take a deep breath
With a body boom bash, my paragraph a trey-deuce
Human behavior in a psychopath
Ooooh, I might lose my cool, and break fool
and pull out my get busy tools
I write like a mad journalist
to funk, that's deeper than a bottomless spliff (that's my word)
The most beautifullest thing in this world
is my notion, for murderous poetry in motion
And the illiotic shit I come across
form a leash you're trapped in with explosive force
I push your head through the cracks of sanity
and leave your brain doin a bid in purgatory
It's ninety-six degrees in the shade
before I catch blood on my blade
I take my frustration to the stage
and gets open dope and stupid bumblin rumblin tracks
When I rap my jams be packed like a laundromat
My context'll wreck your whole concept
Cause my delivery is so complex
And I'm inter-galactic on plastic
with the superdistinguish that I kick
I'm high strung at the top of my lung
with my tongue makin hardcore niggaz wanna get dumb
My dialogue comes straight from the slums
Damnage to your medula, cerebrum and cerebellum
if ya got a crew ya better tell em

I don't think Gloss actually voted, I still saw only one vote after he said he voted.shopvack wrote:meant to vote for kurupt, but seeing as he only has two votes, both of which are accounted for in thread, i must've clicked the wrong one.

I'm saying Snoop. 'Deep Cover' was like a fucking musical nightmare in my life when I first heard it. Changed me drastically. One of the most epic records I had heard to that date. It was like Rap ThrillerMagneto wrote:No one in this thread has said Snoop, yet he has double the votes of anyone.

Dre needs to remember that part of himself again... hell, Snoop does too
