Muddy was great cuz it had some really amazing tracks, but Red was just in a zone on Dare. To me its his best lyrical performance in his solo career. But Muddy Waters is up there, very high up there.

Yep...I was going to say Whut...because of it's rawness and it being his debut album, but Dare...just has an incredible timeless sound and vibe to it.

Not to over use a cliche and such but, personally I think Dare Iz A Darkside was ahead of it's time.

Why doesn't he work primarily with E.Sermon anymore?... they were a dope combination when it came to crafting LPs rather than just making albums with a few 'bangers' scattered here and there...

Most definitely.

The thing i liked most about Muddy Waters was the way it flowed, banger after banger. The beats are ridiculous on there and they just keep coming.

Dare is more of that classic status LP though, it was Redman coming into who Redman was going to be for a very long time. It's unsanely good and still leftover raw from Whut, whereas Muddy Waters is stepped into the slightly game changing era of hiphop. At least in my eyes anyway.

I like Whut...? I was blown away when that first came out. I thought he and Erick killed it on every track.

Muddy Waters. Funk Docta was just in a zone on that album.
