Still depressing that beating the Hawks takes a miraculous come-from-behind win. But hey - it's the East and after all we're one game out of the last playoff spot (and 3 out of 6th place).

he was the most dominant player ever with the Lakers, even when Kobe Bryant was a pip squeak airing 3 pointers shaq was still a dominant force...he took a bumbling kurt rambis hodgepodge squad, with a still shivering pre-pubescent Bryant to the playoffs and it took the combined Twin Towers in David Robinsons last great year and Tim Duncans fundamentals to knock(sweep) them out of the playoffs

D Wade has been teh first player I have seen been the absolute leader of a team with Shaq

Shaq is still a monster tho, I told everybody even if Wade missed the entire postseason the Heat would still be championship contenders because of a pretty good(altho weird) mix of former franchise players, stars and even HOF all learning to play roles, and of course SHAQ DADDY

hes only 35. Its not like hes pushing 40. With wade in the lineup, you can tell hes clearly taking it easy till the playoffs. Without wade now, hes playing with the urgency. He can still get it done when healthy. Any team shaq goes to imideatly becomes a title contender just cause of the double teams he demands and his presence.
