the decemberists, the black keys, rogue wave and iron & wine have been around about 5 years.

the hold steady, wolf parade, tv on the radio, grizzly bear.

beirut has promise, definitely worth checking for in the future. same with the go! team and voxtrot.

not enough people know who gotye is, he's fantastic though. also, margot and the nuclear so & so's.

the broken west released a great debut album last year too.
